Billed as "the world's smallest restaurant," it may also be Italy's most romantic. This cozy restaurant is in a verdant garden in the hills north of Rome - with only one table for two.

The lavish meals are presented in the intimate, dimly-lit drawing room complete with roaring fire, or in the secluded palm garden under a vine-covered pergola with a view of distant rolling vineyards. Waiters are summoned with a tinkling silver bell, making the romantic seclusion of this little dream-world complete. On the grounds are the remains of an ancient Roman villa, heightening the story-book setting and sense of mystery. Evening meals are accompanied by a torch-lit drive and abundant candlelight.

The chef uses local ingredients to create custom meals according to each couple's tastes and desires, carefully choosing the right background music and wine to compliment the meal. Whatever other romantic notions you need can be accommodated, such as fireworks or a limo service.
