If you want to spurge for a romantic restaurant, Max is the place! Set inside an art gallery, you'll dine surrounded by paintings and antiques. The courtyard is lit by twinkle lights in the trees. There are even paintings lining the entry stairs, making it an elegant eatery.

The specialties include fresh fish, especially the zuppa di pesce (seafood stew) and lobster ravioli, but they also have plates for meat eaters, like the lamb chops. The wine selection is extensive. Service is attentive. This is a good place to celebrate a special occasion.
