Follow the signs from the via del Duomo through the maze of lanes and staircases to find Donna Stella in one of the narrow alley-streets of Amalfi. Away from the main thoroughfares, Donna Stella is noted locally for its pizzas, especially the bufala (with the queen mother of mozzarella cheeses, made from buffalo milk) and the bianca (with sweet cherry tomatoes, arugula and shavings of parmigiano). They also have daily specials of pasta or main dishes scribbled on a blackboard.

The cozy atmosphere is delightful, as is the terrace shaded by fragrant lemon trees.

Closed Thursdays. Reservations highly recommended if you don't want a long wait for a table at this popular place.
