Restaurant Cantina del Gallo

Restaurant “Cantina del Gallo”, located in Naples between the Fontanelle cemetery and the catacombs of St Gaudioso, keeps alive an authentic interpretation of Neapolitan cuisine.

The current manager, Rosario Silvestri and his entire family, offer great pizza, as well as the typical “pizzicotti” (“pinches” of pizza dough stuffed with eggplant and provola, or sausages and “friarielli” (turnip tops), or ricotta and cicoli, or ham and mozzarella), potato croquettes, rice croquettes, delicious bean soups, fried cod (also called “cassuola”), pasta and potatoes with melted provola cheese, penne alla Sorrentina and much more.
