Restaurant Bar Le Gatte

Listen the waves lap the shore from a table under the arcades of this historic building at the port of Santa Maria di Castellabate. It's especially charming at sunset when the colors sparkle on the sea, with views of the castle across the beach. Le Gatte was featured in the film, Benvenuti al Sud.

Noted for the pizzas and the homemade pasta dishes using fresh local seafood. The frittura di pesce (mixed fry of fish) is popular and done well, too.
