Martignana

Martignana is a pretty district of Empoli, in the Tuscany region, at about 50 km from the city of Florence.

Peaceful hilly green landscapes characterize this typical Tuscan plot of land, that also offers the notable church of St Bartolomeo. 

A great chance to enjoy the lovely Martignana is to attend the local traditional festival where to have some of the best Italian wine ever! ...and it's not just about drinking marvellous wine in the countryside, but it’s also about eating traditional dishes from the local history and culture.
