There are easily-reached beaches at Marza, between Santa Maria del Focallo and Porto Ulisse, right along the SP67 provincial road. They are thin strips of golden sand that are left in a natural state without development.

For those wanting a bit more isolation, then Marina di Marzia beach further along is a little-known place set below the low cliffs, great if you want to relax without a crowd. It is a cove tucked into the rock, with fine golden sand. It is reached by foot along a trail, after leaving your car on the provincial road, or taking one of the narrow secondary roads that serve the homes there. This locale is also known as Punta Cirica, and has some rocky "faraglioni" jutting out of the water. Again, it is left natural and without development or vendors. Bring your own lunch and water (and be sure to take the remnants out with you at the end of the day!)
