An upscale place with nice ambiance and the specialties of Ischia, this restaurant is sure to please. The family has been at it for twenty years, and knows what their customers want. Try the island's famous rabbit (coniglio all'Ischitana) or the swordfish cooked with citrus. Risotto with shrimp and asparagus (in season) is lovely, but the pasta alle cozze e cacio is a winner (mussels and cacio cheese). Of course there are simple standbys like pasta with mushrooms, too. The fish cooked in parchment is something special, or the grilled meats for carnivores.

Il Borghetto sits on a low hill looking down at the sea, and offers an outdoor terrace for summer dining, too.
