I Due Fratelli BeachThe Two Brothers (I Due Fratelli) is a small beach a the marina of Vietri sul Mare which has been reshaped after the big 1954 flood. Nowadays is just close to the two huge retaining walls built after the catastrophe. In the front area the beach is full of little stones, whist you got plenty of sand in the back side. The beach of "I Due Fratelli" is about 70 meters long and allows the bathers to enjoy a lovely sight of the two stacks which gave the name to the beach, in fact called "I Due Fratelli" : actually the two stacks evoke two brothers of an ancient local legend, telling about the death of two young warriors. In Summer a nice beach resort offers the tourists all the comfort of a little and pleasant corner of paradise just at the beginning of the Amalfi Coast: you can enjoy the local food at the restaurant – where to have some good fresh sea food – or you can choose to try some typical crushed ice drink – especially the local lemon ones – at the bar by the sea. You get all this in a quiet and peaceful familiar atmosphere: it's the ideal place where to rest and have a quick and easy access to the sea, avoiding the big and crowded beaches of the Marina.
