Hotel Restaurant Villa MariaVilla Maria is an elegant Liberty-style villa in the picture-perfect town of Ravello. The hotel and restaurant are stately yet subdued, the right blend of sophistication and style without being pretentious. The dining room is a bright, cheery space with wide windows, but the real draw is the breathtaking terrace offering stupendous views of the sea and coastline. Guests are free to wander through the gardens and explore the grounds; be sure to stop by the grotto with the rock-hewn chapel. The restaurant prepares Amalfi and Neapolitan specialties utilizing the organic produce from their carefully cultivated vegetable garden. Everything is fresh and made daily. Noteworthy dishes include the seafood-stuffed ravioli, the spaghetti with baby clams or the vegetable-based plates. Try the Falanghina or another local varietal wine. Excellent service.
