Just across the river from Verona's historic center, the Giusti Garden is a beautiful green oasis. The garden is attached to the Palazzo Giusti, a 16th century noble residence, and is an excellent example of an Italian Renaissance garden. It was planted in 1580, using the terraces and landscape to create a unique and lovely walled park. It is set in a panoramic spot with views of Verona from some of its corners.

There is a cypress lane, a hedge maze, and a mix of natural landscape with formal manicured park. As you meander through, you'll come across bubbling fountains, hidden grottoes, statuary and topiary among the pathways.

The Giardino Giusti is open daily from 9:00 AM til 8:00 PM (7:00 PM in winter). Cost is €6.
