He was born in Naples and raised in Milan, and started shooting for the first time when he was stationed in Beirut as part of the multinational peacekeeping forces in 1983. Back from Lebanon and the military, he started working with local studios and soon realized that his creativity was expressed at its best with weddings, captivating the emotion in the numerous sentimental moments in this kind of personal celebration. He has a preference for working with natural light and spontaneity, as he tries to find just the right shot: the expression of joy, the deep feelings felt by bride and groom, and the festive ambiance surrounding them. The result is a mix of colorful portraits alternating with black and white poses to complete the gallery of each event with a personal touch of his own.
