In the Piazza Duomo at Arezzo's upper end, the Diocesan Museum is set within the Palazzo Vescovile. Once the Bishop's Palace, it displays a fine array of religious art and liturgical items that came from churches around the Arezzo diocese.

The museum is also known as MUDAS; it was established in 1963 with works from the 12th through the 19th centuries. They include sculptures, paintings, crucifixes, reliquaries, silver and gold items and more.

Some of the highlights - a ceramic glazed bust of San Donato by Della Robbia; also not to be missed is the Vasari Room.
