La Crestarella is a beautiful beach below the defensive seaside tower of the same name. Built as part of a series of watch towers to protect the coast, it provides a pretty backdrop to the long beach. It's located on the other side of the tower from the Baia Beach, between Salerno and Vietri. The beach itself is a mix of sand and pebbles. It's not very crowded because it's reached by a sort of obstacle course down from town, or by climbing over the rocks from the Baia Beach. Bring your own blanket, umbrella and refreshments, as there are no beach-side services here.
