Pasquale Sorrentino has been crafting artistic ceramics in Ravello for over 30 years.
Pasquale's majolicas are made respecting the great tradition of Italian ceramics, and, more specifically, employing the techniques and decorations characteristic of the Amalfi Coast. The clay is hand-moulded using a lathe (the "tornio") and the experienced hands of the potter magically create a work of art out of a handful of clay.
A visit to Ceramiche d'Arte Pascal is highly recommended, as no catalogue can convey the creativity of Pasquale and the beauty of his work. Well worth even if you are there just looking.
