Bruschetteria Albori

At a few minutes from the centre of Vietri sul Mare, in Albori, one of the most beautiful Italian hamlet, you'll find the lovely Bruschetteria Albori, magisterially run by Mr Peppe for over 25 years.

This is a sort of "institution" for all locals who do not miss a special bruschetta at least twice a year. A bruschetta is a sandwich formed by to big slices of "panella" (traditional kind of bread made in Campania, round shaped and cooked into wood-burning oven, of 1 mt diameter) roasted on hot coal and filled in different ways but strictly using genuine local products.

Try Bruschetta Caprese or, if you fancy spicy food, Bruschetta alla Bestemmia, filled with hot soppressata :-)
