The beach of Borgo San Gregorio is a gem, with the picturesque old fishing village behind it and the view of the Aeolian Islands rising out of the water in front of it. The spot was immortalized in song by Gino Paoli in the '60s with "Sapore di Sale".

Located at the promontory of Capo d'Orlando, it is a thin but beautiful stretch right along the road, with easy access.

You'll find a mix of pebble beach, rocks, and sandy pieces. Free and open access is interspersed by vendors with umbrellas and chairs, beach bars and showers for those who want more comforts and services. The village is in reach, with restaurants and bars and the pretty scene of boats on the shore.
