In the town hall of Vico Equense is an archeological museum that traces hundreds of years of ancient history. The museum highlights finds from the local archeological sites and the Necropoli di Vico Equense, where 200 tombs were found built from tufa blocks, the local volcanic stone. Spread across three rooms, there are more than 200 artifacts of Greek, Etruscan and Italic origins. Decorated ceramics, household pottery items, Ionic and Corinthian vases, amphorae, and more.

The Silio Italico Museum is open from 9:00 AM til 1:00 PM on Mondays and Fridays; and from 3:30 PM til 6:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
