• It is close enough to walk to everything in Amalfi. Everything is within 15 minutes, truly everything.
• The best restaurants we found during our stay were Restaurant Da Meme, a traditional local-Italian food restaurant with excellent food and very affordable. Restaurant Da Gemma, a very good fish restaurant set on a terrace overlooking the main street where a meal costs close to the rate for a night in this apartment when including the cost of exceptional wine. And Ristorante Eolo, situated 100 meters left of the apartment and overlooking the sea. This was the best dining experience and meal we've ever had. Just note that it's expensive, about twice the nightly rate for this apartment for a meal for two including exceptional wine.

• We found the Il Mulino restaurant good value for money together with quality food & wine. Local good wine charged 2euro for half a liter. Who can beat that. That restaurant can be found at the top of the main high street from Piazza Duomo on the right hand side.
