• Easy place to get around and also access to main bus route to travel out of the area.
• Lots of great hiking in the area above town, recommend the old Monastery of San Domenico.
• Good restaurant in town is Restaurant La Strada, they have a terrace on the roof.
• There is an artist's studio (Paolo Sandulli) in one of the old towers - Torre a Mare - sculpture and paintings - which was really fun.

• Bring your walking shoes, there are shops close by but you'll need to pick up a bus timetable for the local bus service or face a big hill on your way back home!

• It is easier to park the car around the bend from the San Domenico convent entrance. It is a good 7-8 mins walk. But at least you know it is safe there.
• Park the car and take the bus into Positano. It saves on the parking hassles and the bus ride is great!

• Perfect for one or two people, with the main emphasis on the terrace. You need to be fit however, to climb the stairs each day.
