• Relax and make most of your stay, enjoy the excellent views and if able walk the Path of the Gods from Nocelle to Praiano, I managed it and it was excellent, what a view!!
• ùMust go on ferry to/from Amalfi/Positano, brilliant.
• Local shops are great, everything you need, lady in shop at St Luca is brilliant, had a laugh over burgers!!!
• Local bus service is excellent and so much cheaper than SITA bus 1.50 euro to Positano from St Luca.

• There is a butchers just along the road that leads up to the church which sells most things and a couple of supermarkets if you head down the hill.
• Our favourite restaurant was round the headland in Vettica Maggiore - Restaurant San Gennaro.
• You can day trip to all the big name sights of the area - Positano, Pompeii, Herculaneum, even Paestum.
• Our favourite walk was along the coast to Furore fjord, but the track is quite dicey in places.

• There are 65 steep stairs down to the villa from the street,so you need to be able to negotiate them.

• There are some very lovely restaurants on the main road, in particular, we had a very special meal at Hotel Il Pino with an amazing view of the sunset.
• The little local bus is very useful but the route and timetable takes a little getting used to. The local bus fares (€1.50 single) are not included in the 3T tourist ticket which mainly covers SITA buses and trains (though at €20 for 3 days is excellent value).
• There is a great little provisions shop very near the apartment, just on the way down the hill (the lady who runs it speaks no English but with a few words of basic Italian, some mutual good will and well chosen gesticulations you'll get all the basics) and a bigger (tardis-like) shop in the centre of the village with an amazing wine cellar and selling everything you could want.
• One of the highlights of our trip was taking a small RIB tour to Capri along the coast, exploring the islands and caves on the way, from the little marina of Praia (at the other end of the local bus route to Positano).
