• I think all the restaurants we ate in were very good, especially the Covo dei Saraceni.
• It's worth going to Le Sirenuse for lunch for the views.
• Luca at L'Incanto right next door took good care of us for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, snacks and made us feel at home.

• Use the porter service for bags, not cheap but you are on holiday!!!
• Airport transfers we used Carusolimo from Sorrento, cheaper than a taxi and much better service - they have a website.

• Take the ferry to Positano because the villa is close to where the ferries dock. It is much more convenient that coming by taxi or car and then having to walk down several steps to arrive at the villa.
• We enjoyed taking the free boat to another beach and restaurant. The boat has a red fish on it and the name of the restaurant is Ristorante Da Adolfo. The food was excellent.

• I would recommend taking the ferry from Sorrento to Positano rather than the bus. It was great to come in to the beach level where the Villa is located and walk a short distance to the Villa. People who came in by bus were needed to bring luggage down the numerous steps, etc.
• Positano is easy to figure out as a little city but that first afternoon we were very thankful for the saved steps.

• The restaurant/snack bar next door has the best sandwiches, but closed for the season the day after we got there (Oct. 8, 2006).
• The best way to get to Villa Pamela B from Naples is to take the boat rather than a taxi. The boat drops you a very short distance from the villa. If you take a taxi, you will need a porter or will have a long and steep walk down to the beach.
