Holiday Home Description

Villa Don Ferrante is a splendid two-story ancient watch tower built sheer above the sea and with direct access to the sea. It sleeps ten people. From Villa Don Ferrante you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast. Villa Don Ferrante is 200 square meters (2150 square feet). It features direct access to the sea and nice private terraces with a view of the sea.

You will be approximately 600 meters (660 yards) from Praiano, where you will find restaurants, the shops and the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi-Salerno line. You will reach Villa Don Ferrante from the street level going down a 200-meters (660-feet) public walkway that includes approximately 350 stairway steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Don Ferrante. If you do have one, you will be able to park it along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces).

Villa Don Ferrante is a real gem tucked among the rocks on the coast between Positano and Praiano. It was originally built as a watch tower, used to defend the coast from Saracen attacks. Nowadays it's a fantastic vacation home for travelers.

You can also reach the villa from the sea.

For your arrival, you'll have free ferry boat service available, departing from the port of Positano, to arrive directly at the property by sea.

Direct Access to the Sea

From the property you will have a direct access to the sea through a concrete platform. You will reach it from Villa Don Ferrante going down approximately 70 stairway steps.

Terrace 1

The first terrace is 150 square meters (1615 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs and deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a thrilling view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri and of the coast of Amalfi.

Terrace 2

The second terrace is 75 square meters (810 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the first terrace. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with a table, chairs and sun loungers. Here you will also find a brickwork barbecue. From the terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi.

Terrace 3

The third terrace is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the second terrace going down 15 steps. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with deck chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the terrace you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea and of the coastline.

Bottom Floor

Terrace 4

The fourth terrace is 25 square meters (270 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the living room going down 12 steps. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast.

Living Room

The furnishings of the living room are elegant and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include two masonry sofas. There is a big fireplace made of bricks. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. From the living room you will be able to enter the fourth terrace through a French door. The room has two windows with a view of the sea.

Kitchen

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the corridor. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker.

Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the sea. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower.

Top Floor

Terrace 5

The fifth terrace is 35 square meters (375 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast.

Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the fifth terrace through a French door. The room has a window with a view of the sea. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.

Bedroom 3

You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the corridor. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a window with a view of the sea and of the coastline.

Bedroom 4

You will be able to enter the fourth bedroom from the corridor. It has two bunk beds (each made up by two single beds, one on top of the other).

Bathroom

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.
