Casa Cortese A is a pleasant and spacious apartment that is part of an ancient country house situated a few miles from the shores of Lake Trasimeno. It sleeps six people. From Casa Cortese A you will enjoy an enchanting view of the valley and of the hills of Valdichiana. Casa Cortese A is 120 square meters (1290 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a shared garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and broadband Internet access through Ethernet LAN.
You will be roughly 4 km (2.5 miles) from Terontola, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation.
Casa Cortese A is located on the top floor of an ancient farmhouse. You will reach it from the parking area going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 20 steps.
To stay at Casa Cortese A you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a reserved parking space.
The Casa Cortese apartments are found in a splendid old farmhouse dating back to about 1700.
The farmhouse sits in the open country, between Tuscany and Umbria. The apartments, although renovated, preserve the old architectural features that were typical of the rural culture of the time.
The apartments are four, three are located in the farmhouse and one is an annex located in front of the farmhouse.
In the garden you will found, as well as the pool, a bocce court and a volleyball field.
The swimming pool is 5 meters (16 feet) large by 10 meters (33 feet) long, 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Tuscan hills. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. It is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.
In the laundry room you will find a washing machine at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally).
The living room is paved with Tuscan terracotta tiles. The furnishings are warm and welcoming. The furnishings include a rocking chair. There is a big fireplace. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner electric cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a large flat-screen satellite television (local channels). The room has two windows with a view of the garden and of the swimming pool. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a view of the greenery and of the hills. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a desk. The room has a window with a view of the garden and of the swimming pool. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a bathtub with shower wand.
