Casa Sagina C is a welcoming apartment surrounded by meadows and by green hills. It sleeps four people. It is approximately 50 square meters (540 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, two shared patios, a shared garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 5 km (3.1 miles) from Pontedera, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant a few meters (feet) away and a grocery store at 3.5 km (roughly 2.2 miles).
Casa Sagina C is located on the first floor. You will reach it from the main entrance of the building going up a flight of stairs (approximately 15 steps).
To stay at Casa Sagina C you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, inside the entrance gate. Please note that access to Casa Sagina C is along an 800-meter (half-a-mile) unpaved road.
Villa Sagina is a rural complex of twelve apartments divided between two sprawling farmhouses dating back to the 1700s that once belonged to a noble Tuscan family.
The two houses are situated in the heart of Tuscany, blending into the magnificent hilly landscape that is found in this area. Villa Sagina is surrounded by vineyards, green pastures and woods.
Within the estate you'll find a nine-hole practice golf course. Golf enthusiasts can rent clubs and make use of the club house, where there is a locker room, reception and a rental booth.
A restaurant is located in a beautiful hall with barrel vault ceilings, where you can sample the simple but delicious Tuscan specialties accompanied by wine by the owners' vineyards. The restaurant is open for breakfast as well as lunch and dinner. You can also buy wine, olive oil, and other local products.
There is a spacious swimming pool in the garden, along with a bathroom with changing facilities.
Villa Sagina also has a small spa with a sauna, steam bath, gym and massage rooms for various spa treatments. There is also a communal living room with fireplace and television. Outside, there are walking trails that cover the grounds and meander among woods, vineyards, and ponds that are easy and accessible to everyone.
The swimming pool is 8 meters (26 feet) large by 16 meters (52 feet) long, 2 meters (6.5 feet) deep. It is an infinity pool. The swimming pool area is equipped with a table, chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs and an external shower. By the pool you will also find a bathroom which is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the valley and of the vineyards. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. It is open from the beginning of April until the beginning of October, from 9 am to 8 pm.
The first patio is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a fascinating view of the forest that surrounds the estate and of the vineyards. You will share the patio with the other guests staying at the complex.
The second patio is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a pleasant view of the forest that surrounds the estate. You will share the patio with other guests staying at the complex, as well as with non-resident guests.
The garden is 10000 square meters (108000 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a gazebo. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the garden you will enjoy a splendid view of the forest that surrounds the estate and of the vineyards. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex.
You will be able to enter the wellness room from the garden through a French door. In the wellness room you will find an exercise bike and a sauna. This room has a bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a hydromassage shower (the bathroom has a second door that opens into the corridor). You will share the wellness room with the other guests staying at the complex. Please note that use of the wellness facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally.
In the laundry room you will find a washing machine and a clothes dryer at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally).
The furnishings of the living room are comfortable. The furnishings include a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a two-burner electric cooker, a small refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven and an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!). The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a flat-screen satellite television (local channels). From the living room you will be able to enter the small balcony with a view of the garden and of surrounding countryside through a double-glazed French door. The room has two double-glazed small high windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the living room. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested (please contact our staff in advance to make arrangements). The furnishings include a desk. The room has a Juliet balcony with a view of the garden. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a safe and a telephone.
