Holiday Home Description

Appartamento Marcantonio B is a characteristic and welcoming apartment in a quiet position, situated at a short distance from the Cathedral of Amalfi. It sleeps six people. From Appartamento Marcantonio B you will have a characteristic view of the rocky walls which form the Valle dei Mulini (Valley of the Mills). Appartamento Marcantonio B is 100 square meters (1076 square feet). It features a spacious shared terrace.

You will be in the center of Amalfi, where you will find restaurants, the shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the closest restaurant a few meters (feet) away, the Piazza Flavio Gioia bus terminal and the closest beach at roughly 700 meters (770 yards).

Appartamento Marcantonio B is located on the top floor of an age-old paper mill. You will reach it from the main entrance of the building going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 140 steps.

Marcantonio apartments are on the top floor of an old mill once used to dry the paper made by hand by local artisans, the so called Carta di Amalfi.

This ancient structure, consisting of a dry, cool and ventilated building, was renewed in 2005 but it still have the magic of the old age.

With its magnificent location, the apartments are not only close to shops and restaurants downtown, but also to places full of charm and beauty.

You'll have the possibility of walking on old-aged alleys and visiting the ancient paper mills of the beautiful Valle delle Ferriere.
Moreover, at the end of the path you'll find a true paradise: you can deep yourself in nature, have scenic walks and practice trekking or climbing sports.

if reserved together, the apartments are the ideal solution to accommodate groups of up to 12 people, because they are adjacent and share a terrace, where you will have a reserved area for your own use.

Terrace

The terrace is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. It is equipped with tables, chairs, two sun umbrellas and four sun loungers. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the surrounding ancient alleys. You will share the terrace with the guests staying at the complex, at another nearby apartment, and there will be an area reserved for your exclusive use.

Living Room

The living room is paved with lucid green tiles. The furnishings are classic and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a long sofa , a divan that unfolds into a double bed and a desk. The dining table can accommodate six guests. In this room you will find a television. The room has two windows overlooking the gardens of the surrounding houses.

Kitchen

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the corridor. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a kettle. There is a table to seat four guests. The kitchen has a window overlooking the gardens of the surrounding houses.

Bathroom 1

The first bathroom is tiled with lucid handmade majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a bathtub with fixed shower head. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room through a corridor.

Bedroom 1

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The ceiling is sloping, has characteristic exposed wood beams and has an height of 1.40 meters (4.6 feet) at its lowest point. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a small window overlooking the gardens of the surrounding houses.

Bedroom 2

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The ceiling is sloping, has characteristic exposed wood beams and has an height of 1.40 meters (4.6 feet) at its lowest point. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested. The room has a window overlooking the gardens of the surrounding houses.

Bathroom 2

The second bathroom is tiled with lucid handmade majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a hydromassage shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Appartamento Marcantonio B the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 200, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
