Holiday Home Description

Appartamento Radiosa E is an elegant and welcoming apartment in a history-rich eighteenth-century estate. It sleeps four people. From Appartamento Radiosa E you will enjoy a wonderful view of the Tuscan hills. Appartamento Radiosa E is 60 square meters (645 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a shared garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 3 km (1.9 miles) from the center of Florence, where you will find restaurants, the shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 2 km (roughly 1.2 miles), a grocery store at 1.5 km (roughly 1 mile) and the stop for ATAF bus line 36 a few meters (feet) away.

Appartamento Radiosa E is located on the first floor of an ancient villa. You will reach it from the parking area along a 200-meters (660-feet) private walkway that cuts through the garden and includes approximately 12 stairway steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Appartamento Radiosa E. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a reserved parking space.

The Radiosa apartments are part of a complex in the heart of the tuscan countryside, a few steps from Florence. The complex, originally build in the XVI century, is hidden by vineyards and olive trees and surrounded by the luxuriant tuscan scrubs.

From the main gate you'll be surprised by a long alley leading through the vineyards, and, at the end of it, you'll discover this ancient palace that appears just like a daydream.

Once there, you'll be welcomed by a classical italian garden, a sort of labyrinth where in summer the lazy bees buzz around flowers and rare butterflies fly everywhere.

Not so far you'll see an orangerie, a nice covered hall where you could read books or just rest enjoying the magnificent view of the hills. A step further, you'll see the heated swimming pool, from which you'll have a stunning view while bathing or just resting on sun loungers. Or you can relax in the heated jacuzzi, or enjoy a turkish bath, at your disposal in the swimming pool area.

Still following the path you'll see all around green fields, terraces and gazebos, all equipped with tables, chairs and deckchairs.

So, you can walk around the estate and find your own private and secret place where enjoy the quite of the countryside.

The apartments are part of the old palace, each of them easily reachable by the main entrance and through corridors decored with frescos and furnished with ancient pieces.

During the renovations the onwer discovered an old roman amphitheatre, now restored. On summer, it becomes a perfect setting for proms, events, ceremonies or just romantic dinners by candlelights!

And, what about wine? From the famous cellar of Villa Radiosa you could choose the most prestigious wines of Tuscany, and, why not, taste the local homemade wine!

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is 4 meters (13 feet) large by 14 meters (46 feet) long, 1.2 meters (4 feet) deep. It is heated. The swimming pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy an enchanting view of the Tuscan hills and of Florence at a distance. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. It is open from the beginning of April until the end of October.

Garden

The garden is partly shaded by an ancient gazebo and by tall trees. The garden is equipped with masonry benches, as well as with a table and chairs. From the garden you will enjoy a charming view of the Tuscan hills. You will share the garden with the other guests staying at the complex.

Wellness room

You will be able to enter the wellness room from the swimming pool area. In the wellness room you will find a Turkish bath. Here you will also find an above-ground heated Jacuzzi pool with hydromassage. The wellness room is shared with the other guests staying at the complex.

Laundry room

In the laundry room you will find a washing machine, a clothes dryer, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal (please note that use of the laundry facilities is not included in the rental fee and must be paid locally).

Living Room

The living room is paved with characteristic terracotta tiles. The ceiling is sloping and has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are warm and elegant, and include some antique pieces. They include an armchair and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a two-burner gas cooker, a small refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a kettle. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. The room has a high window with a view of the street below and of the other buildings. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a safe.

Bedroom with en-suite bathroom

You will be able to enter the bedroom from the living room. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). In this room you will find a satellite television. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a telephone. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bathtub with fixed shower head and a hairdryer.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Appartamento Radiosa E the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 200, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
