Holiday Home Description

Villa Irina is a characteristic independent house which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps four people. From Villa Irina you will enjoy a charming view of the sea and of Positano. Villa Irina is 70 square meters (750 square feet). It features a wide private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and broadband Internet access through Ethernet LAN.

You will be in the seventeenth-century historic center of Positano, where you will find restaurants, the shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will reach Villa Irina from the street level going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 110 steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Irina. If you do have one, you will be able to park it for a fee, along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot downtown (where a space can be reserved).

Terrace

The terrace is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella and sun loungers. From the terrace you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and of Positano.

Living Room

You will be able to enter the living room from the corridor. The floor is paved with hand-made majolica tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are bright and cheerful. The furnishings include a sofa , two armchairs and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In this room you will find a satellite television, a DVD player and a CD player. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a double-glazed French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Kitchen

The kitchen is spacious and comfortable, equipped with a six-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!), a toaster and a kettle. There is a table to seat four guests. The kitchen is also equipped with an Ethernet plug for broadband Internet connection (don't forget your cable!). From the kitchen a double-glazed French door will take you to the terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano. The room has a double-glazed window with a view of the sea.

Bedroom with en-suite bathroom

You will be able to enter the bedroom from the corridor. The furnishings are elegant and bright. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed), that can be split into twins if requested. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a double-glazed French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, made of lucid majolica tiles and marble and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, large fully-enclosed shower and a hairdryer.
