Holiday Home Description

Villa Tecla A is a charming two-story villa located on a hillside, facing the sea. It sleeps seven people. From Villa Tecla A you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri. Villa Tecla A is 150 square meters (1615 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, two private terraces with a view of the sea, a private garden, air conditioning, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be in a pedestrian precinct, approximately 200 meters (660 feet) from Nocelle, where you will find a grocery store. You will find a number of restaurants at 2 km (roughly 1.2 miles), shops, the stop for the local bus at 100 meters (330 feet) and the closest beach at 5 km (roughly 3 miles). You will reach Villa Tecla A from the parking area along a 50-meters (165-feet) walkway that includes approximately 80 stairway steps.

For a succesful stay at Villa Tecla A we recommend having a car. You will be able to park it at approximately 100 meters (110 yards), along the public roads (the actual distance might vary depending on the availability of parking spaces) or in a private parking lot (where a space can be reserved) or in a public parking lot (where a space can not be reserved).

Villa Tecla is composed by two villas at a distance of 50 metres (164.04 feet) from each other, with a shared swimming-pool and solarium.

The villas are nested into the luxuriant green of a steep hill overlooking the crystalline sea and Bay of Positano, at 420 metres (1,377.95 feet) altitude.

These lovely accommodations are part of Nocelle, a tiny hamlet practicable only on foot. Nocelle is on the "Walk of the Gods": amazing trekking route along the top of Lattari Mountains, where breathtaking views of the coast and sea mesmerise anyone.

Villa Tecla A is located above and closer to the swimming-pool than Villa Tecla B. To reach Villa Tecla B from Villa Tecla A you should go down to a private pedestrian path crossing the garden that includes about 100 steps.

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is 4 meters (13 feet) large by 7 meters (23 feet) long, from 1.20 meter (4 feet) to 1.5 meters (5 feet) deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers and an external shower. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri. You will share the pool with guests staying at another nearby villa. It is open from the beginning of May until the end of September.

Terrace

The terrace is on the top floor. It is 80 square meters (860 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella. From the terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri. You will share the terrace with guests staying at another nearby villa.

The first terrace is on the top floor. It is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella and deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri.

Terrace 2

The second terrace is on the bottom floor, at garden level. It is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella and deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a view of the sea and of the coast, from Positano to the island of Capri.

Garden

The garden is 50 square meters (540 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by trees. You will be able to reach it from a terrace. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the garden you will enjoy a view of the vegetation.

Living Room 1

You will find the first living room on the middle floor. The floor is paved with hand-made terracotta tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are elegant and bright. They include a sofa and two armchairs. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a large refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate eight guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a double-glazed French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Living Room 2

You will find the second living room on the bottom floor, at garden level. You will be able to enter it from the main entrance hall along an external stairway. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming. They include a sofa and a divan bed for one guest. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and other small appliances. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bedroom 1

The first bedroom is located on the top floor. You will be able to enter it from the living room. The furnishings are elegant and bright. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bedroom 2

The second bedroom is located on the top floor. You will be able to enter it from the living room. The furnishings are bright and cheerful. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested. An additional twin bed (80 cm/32 inches) is available (if requested in advance) to make it a triple (without exceeding the maximum occupancy of seven guests). The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bedroom 3

The third bedroom is located on the bottom floor. You will be able to enter it from a corridor. The furnishings are elegant and bright. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coastline through a double-glazed French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bathroom 1

The first bathroom is located on the top floor. It is made of lucid majolica tiles and marble and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, large fully-enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.

Bathroom 2

The second bathroom is located on the bottom floor. It is tiled with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a Jacuzzi bathtub with fixed shower head and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Villa Tecla A the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 300, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
