Holiday Home Description

Villa Assiolo is a characteristic two-story ancient house overlooking the sea and the main beach of Positano. It sleeps seven people. From Villa Assiolo you will enjoy a charming view of the main beach of Positano (Spiaggia Grande), of the coast and of the sea. Villa Assiolo is 130 square meters (1400 square feet). It features a private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the seventeenth-century historic center of Positano, roughly 200 meters (660 feet) from restaurants, the shops and the stop for the local bus. You will find the beach at 150 meters (approximately 490 feet) including 160 stairway steps. You will reach Villa Assiolo from the parking area going down a 200-meters (660-feet) public walkway that includes approximately 150 stairway steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Assiolo. If you do have one, you will be able to park it at approximately 200 meters (220 yards), for a fee, in a private parking lot.

Terrace

The terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a porch. It is equipped with a table, chairs and deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a fascinating view of the main beach of Positano (Spiaggia Grande), of the coast and of the sea.

Ground Floor

Living Room 1

The first living room is paved with hand-made majolica tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are warm and elegant, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include a long L-shaped sofa and armchairs. The dining table can accommodate seven guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. The room has a large panoramic window which overlooks the characteristic alley below.

Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. The floor is paved with original hand-made majolica tiles. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has no windows. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower.

First Floor

Living Room 2

The second living room is paved with hand-made majolica tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are bright and cheerful. The furnishings include a sofa and a divan that unfolds into a double bed. In this room you will find a television. From the living room you will be able to enter the large terrace with a view of the sea and of the beach of Positano through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. Here you will also find a safe.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven and an Italian-style coffee-maker. Here you will also find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. The kitchen has a window.

Bedroom 2 with en-suite bathroom

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The ceiling is high and vaulted. The furnishings are elegant and refined, and include some antique pieces. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and a twin bed (80 cm/32 inches). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower.

Bathroom

The bathroom is tiled with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin and a toilet. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Villa Assiolo the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 500, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
