Holiday Home Description

Casa Perlecco A is a welcoming studio apartment furnished and decorated in the characteristic style of a mountain chalet. It sleeps two people. From Casa Perlecco A you will have a pleasant view of the garden. Casa Perlecco A is 30 square meters (320 square feet). It features a shared garden, a reserved outdoor area, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 1.5 km (one mile) from Bellagio, roughly 400 meters (440 yards) from restaurants and the shops. You will find the stop for Linee Lecco bus Bellagio - Lecco line at 500 meters (1640 feet) and the beach at 2 km (roughly 1.25 miles).

Casa Perlecco A is located on the ground floor. You will reach it from the parking area along a short walkway that cuts through the garden.

Casa Perlecco A and Casa Perlecco B are two apartments that are part of a large country house, located in the hamlet of San Vito (one of the 22 hamlets that make up the town of Bellagio), a 30-minute walk to the center of Bellagio and to the ferries. The house, before being restored as a modern house, used to be part of agricultural estate which nowadays no longer exists. In their large and beautiful home the owners have created two small studio apartments, which are a great place to return to after a long day of sightseeing, especially if you are travelling on a budget.

The complex can be reached by bus or by car. Given the distance to the bus stop, and since taxi service is not always readily available, we recommend having a car to tour the area. However, once you are at the villa you will find that, if you like walking, using the buses and the ferries you will be able to reach the many interesting lakeside villages, as well as the towns of Como and Lecco, and their train stations. Private boat trips on the lake can be arranged as well. If you have a car, you will be able to park it near the villa.

If you are fond of biking, the owners will be happy to lend you mountain bikes to tour the surroundings.

You will be approximately 90 minutes from Lugano, Bergamo and Milan, and roughly 30 minutes from Como and Lecco. The popular attraction of Villa Carlotta, in Tremezzo, will be an easy trip by ferry across the lake, and you will be able to walk to the botanic gardens of Villa Melzi, only roughly one mile away (1.5 km).

In the area you will find a wide range of tourist services: fitness center, squash facilities, and mountain bike rentals, a sports club with swimming pool, tennis court, sauna, and gym. Water skiing is also available, and there is an 18-hole golf course 30 minutes away. From Chevrio (a 15-minute drive) you will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Como. Several cafes and restaurants, as well as shops, are available in the center of Bellagio (a 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk).

Bellagio is the most well-known resort of the area, often referred as "the pearl of the lake". It lies at the tip of the headland that splits Lake Como's two branches (the west branch toward the town of Como, and the east branch toward Lecco). Its charm fascinated, in past centuries, artists and poets, such as Pliny the Younger, who once owned what is now Villa Serbelloni, and then Taine, Longfellow, Twain, Stendhal, Flaubert, Faure, Liszt. The original charm is still intact, and makes of this destination a must-see for travellers to Lake Como.

If you prefer, you can enjoy the beautiful garden that surrounds the countryhouse, and, when you're tired, you could rest at the shared relax lounge, where you can read a good book, or just enjoy the quietness of nature around you.

Garden

The garden is 500 square meters (5380 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by trees and by a gazebo. It is equipped with a table, chairs, deck chairs and sun loungers. Here you will also find a barbecue. The garden is shared with the other guests staying at the complex, and there will be an area reserved for your exclusive use.

Living Room

The ceiling of the living room has characteristic exposed wood beams. Here you will find a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings are warm and welcoming. There is a big fireplace made of stone. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!) and a toaster. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the garden through a French door. The room has three large panoramic windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bathroom

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Casa Perlecco A the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 50, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
