Holiday Home Description

Villa Jessica is a beautiful 120-square-meter (about 1,292 square feet) villa which sleeps six people. It has an enthralling view of the sea and Positano. The villa features large terraces, a patio, and a small garden. It is located in the center of Positano. It has air conditioning.

Inside the house you will have a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, two bathrooms, a spacious living-room with a fireplace, and a large kitchen.

Villa Jessica is a beautiful two-storey house which is part of the oldest area of Positano. Its façade is embellished with terraces and large masonry arches, and the house is not attached to any other next to it. You will be in the heart of that picturesque cluster of houses built on a steep rocky coast facing the sun and sea which renders the panorama of Positano so famous and unmistakable!

You will be halfway between the beach and the local coast road, making it possible to reach either one either on foot or by bus.

The entrance of the house is only a few feet away from the road, and you reach it by climbing a 70-step stairway. You can reach shops nearby and the bus stop on foot as well. You can park your car 100 meters (about 328 feet) away from the house in a pay parking lot.

The road below the villa is a one-way street run only by local cars and shuttles commuting from/to the lower and upper area of Positano, which means they go from the beach and the pedestrian-shopping streets down below to the main road above.

You can easily reach the elegant-shopping streets and the beach by descending a pedestrian shortcut. Walking through the old ‘scalinatelle’ (little streets consisting of narrow stairways) of Positano is something not to be missed if your legs allow you to do so! While climbing down the steps, besides the most visited places by tourists, you will discover and unveil enchanting angles of Positano. And then, once you have gone all they way below on foot, you can always go back up by the local shuttle!

At Villa Jessica you will find stimulating interiors. Right from the road and if you look up, you will notice the large terrace in Moorish style delimited by white columns which sustain a pergola. The terraces stands as if it were a tower, apart from the other houses: you will suddenly feel like being on the top to admire and enjoy the 360° view of the coast and the sea.

And once you have arrived up there after going through inside the villa, the view will astonish you: white columns seem to be frames of a sequence of paintings showing the blue sky and sea, not mentioning the view of the bay of Positano, and the verdant cliffs where the small white houses are nestled.

On the terrace you will find several flowers, sun loungers, and great night illumination. The terrace is partially shaded by a pergola. It will definitely be your favorite place to relax outdoors from morning time to night fall, when the moon rises over the sea.

Villa Jessica also features a large patio which lies before the ground floor of the villa. The patio is partially covered by two large masonry arches under which there are two patio doors leading to the living-room and the kitchen. In an angle you will find a masonry barbecue and a wood-fired oven to prepare pizza, and in front of the kitchen patio door, you will see a beautiful table with chairs for outdoor meals. From the patio, if you climb four or five steps, you will reach the panoramic terrace. And always from the patio, you can also reach the small garden. The garden is a bit of terraced land placed at the back of the villa at roof-level. It has a splendid view of the sea. You will see some fruit trees such as lemon trees and also several flowers: a secluded little angle which you will find pleasant to stay for a while and rest!

At Villa Jessica you will find a spacious terrace in front of the two bedrooms on the upper floor. And also from this terrace you will be able to enjoy a wide view of the sea and Positano.

You will find the interiors of Villa Jessica spacious, cozy, and elegantly furnished.

You will enter the living-room from the patio. The living-room takes all the ground floor of the house. You will find it spacious and illuminated by two large arched patio doors which open to the patio. In one side of the living-room you will find a couch and armchairs placed around the fireplace. The couch is actually a double divan bed. In the opposite side you will see a spacious kitchen which is separated from the living-room by a half wall. In the middle of the living-room there is the dining area, furnished with a large table.

Next to the living-room there is a bathroom with shower. In the living-room you will also have a satellite-dish TV and air conditioning.

The masonry kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped: you will have a six-burner stove, an oven, a microwave oven, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a fridge with freezer, and small appliances.

An indoor staircase will lead you from the living-room on the ground floor to the upper floor, where there are two bedrooms: a double bedroom and a twin one.

Both rooms are spacious. Each features a patio door leading to the terrace overlooking the sea. You will enjoy waking up in the morning and having your eyes embraced by the view of the sea, the sun and the magical scenery of Positano!

From Villa Jessica you can easily reach the shopping streets of Positano and famous ‘Spiaggia Grande ’ (Large Beach) either on foot or by the local shuttle. During spring/summer, if you wish, you can rent umbrellas and deck chairs at the beach.

While staying at Villa Jessica you will be in an elegant and tranquil location. It is a convenient position from which to visit Sorrento and its coast as well as the Amalfi Coast.

You can participate in the intense tourist life of Positano with its meeting places, shopping streets and restaurants.

From the quay of Positano you will be able to board ferries and mini-cruises day and night to visit the coast, the islands of Capri and Ischia, Amalfi, Sorrento, Naples, Paestum, and the coast of the National Park of Cilento.

From Villa Jessica, those who like hiking and climbing will be able to easily reach the famous trail along the ridge of the mountains that overlook the Amalfi Coast. For its extraordinary beauty, made of precipices and breathtaking views, the trail is called “Sentiero degli Dei”: Path of the Gods.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Villa Jessica the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 200, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
