Holiday Home Description

Villa Sebastiana B is a 50-square-meter (about 538 square feet) studio apartment which sleeps two people. It features a terrace and a garden with an enthralling view of Positano and part of the sea. It is equipped with air-conditioning.

There is a double bed on a mezzanine, a bathroom with shower, and a living-room with a kitchenette.

Villa Sebastiana is a house which is part of the an age-old area of Positano, and it is located on a prominent and panoramic place. The entrance is a few feet away from the state road, and you can conveniently reach it on foot with no need to climb any steps. The house dates back to the Eighteenth-century. It consisted originally of two rooms one above the other with very high vaulted ceilings. Now the house has been restored so as to embrace two gracious mini vacation apartments: Villa Sebastiana A and Villa Sebastiana B.

You will find the location of Villa Sebastiana very convenient. Right next to the door there is a food shop, and just a few steps away there are other shops and restaurants. You will be 30 meters (about 98 feet) away from the bus stop of the local shuttle which connects the center of Positano and the beach; a bus stop you can reach without having to climb any steps of stairways.

You can easily reach on foot even the elegant shopping streets and the beach. All you will have to do is descend along an old footpath which unravels past the house.

Along this footpath you will encounter several steps; however, it is a walk not to be missed if your legs allow you to so, of course! Besides the often busy tourist areas of the place, you will unveil enthralling angles within the town of Positano along this pathway. And then, once you have reached the lower part of the town, you can always take the bus back up!

Villa Sebastiana B has gracious interiors. It consists of a single room divided in two floors communicating through an indoor staircase. On the upper floor you will find the sleeping area, where the double bed is placed. A staircase will lead you to the lower floor, where you will have the living-room with the kitchenette and the bathroom with shower.

The living-room features a window and a patio door with a wide view of Positano. The kitchenette is a beautiful masonry kitchen equipped with a four-burner stove, a fridge, an oven, and dishwasher. In the bathroom you will also have the washing machine. Furnishings are elegant and complete.

The terrace consists of a part of the garden which is paved and enclosed by a wooden balustrade. You can reach it from the living-room by climbing down four or five steps of a stone stairway. On the terrace you will find sun loungers, umbrellas, a table and chairs. It is a nice place to relax outdoors while enjoying a pleasant view of a large area of Positano.

Below the terrace lies a gracious garden, which you can reach by climbing down two or three steps. From the garden, if you lean against the wooden balustrade which encloses it as a terrace, you will have a great view of the sea as well.

From Villa Sebastiana B, you will be able to reach the shopping streets of Positano and the famous ‘Spiaggia Grande’ (Great Beach) by taking the local shuttle or on foot. During spring/summer, if you want, you can rent umbrellas and deck chairs at the beach.

During your stay at Villa Sebastiana B, you will be about 30 meters away (about 100 feet) from the bus stop of the local mini-shuttle which stops at the center of Positano and of the SITA bus, which has the Sorrento–Positano-Amalfi line.

While staying at Villa Sebastiana B you will be in a central position from which to visit Sorrento and its coast as well as the Amalfi Coast.

You can participate in the intense tourist life of Positano, with its meeting places, shopping streets and restaurants.

From the quay of Positano you will be able to board ferries and mini-cruises by day and night to visit the coast, the islands of Capri and Ischia, Amalfi, Sorrento, Naples, Paestum, and the coast of the National Park of Cilento.

From Villa Sebastiana B, those who like hiking and climbing will be able to easily reach the famous trail along the ridge of the mountains that overlook the Amalfi Coast. For its extraordinary beauty, made of precipices and breathtaking views, the trail is called “Sentiero degli Dei”: Path of the Gods.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Villa Sebastiana B the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 150, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
