Villa Eunice is a charming 150-square-meter (about 1,615 square feet) villa which sleeps six people. It features a 120-square-meter (about 1,290 square feet) terrace with a wide view of the sea and Positano. The villa is equipped with air-conditioning and parking space for one car.

Villa Eunice is situated in the historical town of Positano, a few feet away from shops, restaurants, and the bus stop.

There are two double bedrooms, one room furnished with two divan beds, two sleeping places in a divan bed located in one of the two living room of the villa, for a maximum occupancy of six guests, two bathrooms with shower and a WC apart, a spacious living-room, and a kitchen.

Villa Eunice is located in one of the most beautiful panoramic areas of Positano: the villa is an old house built on the top of that high rocky spur overlooking the sea and which seems to “sustain” the main and most picturesque part of Positano, photographed and printed in every postcard.

The inhabitants of the place call this part of town “La Pigna” (pine cone) due to its round shape and to the fact that all the houses overlap one another just as on the shelf of a pineapple. The ‘Pigna’ separates the Spiaggia Grande (Large Beach) from the beach of Fornillo, and it features a flat summit shaped as a small triangle, the Punta Reginella. Villa Eunice is built on the top of the ‘Pigna’: once you have arrived on its terraces, you will feel as if in the first row to watch a marvelous show, in this case the scenery of Positano. You will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea, the town, and the coast.

In order to reach the villa from the main street of Positano, you will have to walk for about 5 meters (about 16 feet) along a pedestrian street with no need to climbing any steps. 50 meters (about 164 feet) away you will find the bus stop of the local shuttle which takes you to the pedestrian area downtown, where the beach and all shopping streets are. Also 50 meters (about 164 feet) away is the bus stop of shuttles which take you to Sorrento and Amalfi.

You don’t need a car during your stay at Villa Eunice. In case you have one, at the villa is available one of the few private garages of Positano, for a car which is at most four-meter long. 50 meters (about 164 feet) away you will also find the first shops, bars, and restaurants.

Villa Eunice has two enthralling terraces overlooking the sea. The first and largest one lies in front of the living-room and the kitchen. It is a terrace-garden caressed by the sun all day long, placed facing the blue of the sea, and rich in flowers and terracotta vases where lush red and yellow hibiscus (rosemallow) grow.

The terrace ends in a scenic overlook whose three sides lean over the sea and the whole landscape just as the prow of a ship. When leaning from the terrace, you will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the entire bay of Positano: you will have the endless skyline of sea and blue sky ahead; and below you, the Spiaggia Grande (Large Beach) on one side, and the Duomo (cathedral), the town surrounding it, and the enchanting coast of the beach of Fornillo with its medieval watchtower by the sea on the other.

This part of the terrace is surmounted by a romantic wisteria pergola under which you will find masonry benches, deck chairs, and a large table decorated with colorful terracotta: it will be your favorite place to relax outdoors during the day and spend magical hours dining under the stars, when the moon glows above the sea and all the lights along the coast are lit…

At Villa Eunice you will also find a second wide terrace overlooking the sea which is on the first floor and in front of the double bedroom.

These terraces are really located in one of the most beautiful places in Positano and even in the world: you will feel privileged to have it all for yourself during your vacation stay!

Villa Eunice is an age-old two-storey house with high vaulted ceiling. It has been thoroughly restored, embracing all the fascination of the old houses in Positano. The entrance door faces a picturesque and very narrow pedestrian street. Once through the beautiful arched door, you will enter an entrance hall embellished by a blue terracotta floor. Next to this hall there is a bathroom with a WC and a sink.

The entrance communicates with the terrace through a large arched patio door through which you can already see the bright terrace and the charming view before it.

On the ground floor you will find two communicating rooms which form a large living-room with several couches, a double divan bed, air conditioning, the satellite television, the dining table, and the kitchen. The living-room has two large patio doors which lead to the terrace and through which you can enjoy the sea view from the inside. You can reach the kitchen both from the living-room and the terrace, which makes it easy and pleasant to organize outdoor meals.

The kitchen has large windows on two walls and through which you will be able to see the sky and the sea while cooking!

In the kitchen you will find a five-burner stove, a fridge with freezer, an oven, a washing machine, and a dishwasher.

At Villa Eunice you will find two bedrooms with a double bed and a bedroom with two single divan beds. Yet another room is downstairs: it is one of the two living rooms of the villa, and it is equipped with a double divan bed. You can choose the sleeping arrangement that works best for you, as long as the maximum occupancy of six guests is not exceeded. All the rooms have air conditioning.

A staircase in the living-room will lead you to the first floor. There you will find two bathrooms equipped with a shower and three bedrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a divan bed which turns into twin beds with normal-size mattresses. This bedroom has large windows on two of the walls which will enable you to enjoy a dazzling view of the sea and Positano.

The second bedroom is adjacent to the double bedroom, and it is also furnished with a divan bed which turns into twin beds. It has a patio door leading to the terrace overlooking the sea.

The third bedroom is the spacious double room featuring a high vaulted ceiling. You reach it through a glass door or by crossing the second bedroom with a divan bed. The terrace in front of it overlooks the sea and is furnished with a table and chairs.

Villa Eunice features bright, elegant and complete furnishings. The floor is in local terracotta tiles displaying vivid and traditional colors. The beautiful restored family furniture and many local artifact objects collected throughout the years with love and care will make you feel as guests in a friend’s authentic house of the Amalfi Coast.

If you want to reach the beach of Villa Eunice, it is possible and convenient to take the local minibus which runs constantly within and around Positano.

At least once, if your knees allow you to, take some time and do not miss the chance to descend towards the beach on foot.

You will have to go along a path which unravels through old pedestrian streets and little narrow stairways enclosed by the walls of the houses which here and there unveil bits of the sea scenery. You will walk inside this little town which is often gazed at by fascinated tourists from the sea.

This will be the best way to go on a search for the most authentic aspects of Positano… and of course, once you have arrived at the beach, you can dive into the sea, or along with the crowds of tourists, after a deserved stop to enjoy some ice-cream sitting in a bar in front of the sea, you can go back to villa comfortably sitting on a bus!

While staying at Villa Eunice you will be in an elegant and tranquil location, as well as in a central position from which to visit Sorrento and its coast as well as the Amalfi Coast.

You can participate in the intense tourist life of Positano, with its meeting places, shopping streets and restaurants.

From the quay of Positano you will be able to board ferries and mini-cruises by day and night to visit the coast, the islands of Capri and Ischia, Amalfi, Sorrento, Naples, Paestum, and the coast of the National Park of Cilento.

From Villa Eunice, those who like hiking and climbing will be able to easily reach the famous trail along the ridge of the mountains that overlook the Amalfi Coast. For its extraordinary beauty, made of precipices and breathtaking views, the trail is called “Sentiero degli Dei”: Path of the Gods.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Villa Eunice the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 500, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
