Villa Tatiana is a charming 115-square-meter (about 1,238 square feet) villa
which sleeps six people. It has a patio, a terrace, and a 400-square-meter (about
4,306 square feet) garden overlooking the sea and Positano. The villa is
situated in the center of Positano. It is equipped with air-conditioning and it
also has its parking space.
There are two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a spacious living-room, and a
kitchen.
The place and the garden
Villa Tatiana is situated on a high and prominent ground in a central area of
Positano, 20 meters (about 66 feet) from the main connecting road. You can reach
the villa by climbing down a staircase of 45 steps.
You will arrive in a splendid garden of about 400 square meters (about 4,306
square feet) which overlooks the seascape. From every angle of the garden you
will have a 180ยบ view of the sea, the coast, and the magical panorama of
Positano.
In the garden you will find: inviting angles with masonry benches shaded by high
citrus trees and palm trees; sun-drenched areas furnished with sun loungers and
an outdoor shower; and a gazebo shaded by a Bougainvillea under which you can
sit in an armchair with a good drink or book in hands...
The garden is beautifully lit. You will find it pleasant to dine outdoors during
the sweet Mediterranean evenings while gazing at the fabulous reflects of the
moon in the sea...
In case you feel like baking a pizza, you will find an angle in the garden which
is equipped with a wood-fired oven!
The house
Villa Tatiana is on the ground floor. A large arched patio door will lead you
access from the garden to the living-room.
The living-room is divided in two by a large arch. In one part you will see a
corner with the TV and a fireplace surrounded by couches and armchairs. In the
other part there is a dining table, a divan bed, and two armchairs. From the
living-room you reach a bright patio all painted in white and shaded by green
climbing plants and red Bougainvillea. From the patio you have a splendid view
of the blue sea, and below the patio you will find wooden couches, a table, and
chairs.
From the living-room you have access to two gracious double bedrooms. One of the
bedrooms has a patio door which leads to the patio, and its bathroom is found
inside the room. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub with shower taps. The
second double bedroom has windows which open to the interior of the house. The
bedroom is naturally airy and has no autonomous air-conditioning.
The second bathroom is reached from the living-room. It is spacious, and it
displays a bathtub and a shower.
From the living-room you can also get into the kitchen. It is a very bright room
with a wall taken by a large window overlooking the garden. While preparing
breakfast, you will be able to enjoy the green of the trees and the flowers!
The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner stove, an oven, a fridge with
freezer, and a dishwasher. The villa also has a laundry room with a washing
machine.
Villa Tatiana has its own parking space. Having a car is not needed since the bus
stop of the local bus, which goes around inside Positano, is just a few feet
away from the house.
Bars, restaurants, and shops are only 20 meters (about 66 feet) from the house.
The beach
From Villa Tatiana, you can easily reach the beach of Positano, called Fornillo.
200 meters (about 656 feet) from the house, there is a private elevator of a
beach establishment which will take you straight to the sea. You may take it
free of charge if you enjoy any of the services offered by the place: rental of
umbrellas, visiting its bar or restaurant.
From Villa Tatiana, you can also reach the Spiaggia Grande (Large Beach) of
Positano quite conveniently. All you have to do is take the local bus or go for
a stroll through the characteristic and narrow pedestrian streets of the place.
It is a walk of approximately 500 meters (about 1,640 feet), but it will
definitely enable you to unveil fascinating panoramas. Go for such walk at least
once, if your knees allow you to do so, of course!!
Nearby tourist attractions
Once at Villa Tatiana, you will be close to the bus stop of the local minibus of
Positano and also next to the bus stop of the SITA bus, which offers the
Sorrento-Positano-Amalfi line.
You will be in a convenient position to visit Sorrento, the Sorrento Coast and
the Amalfi Coast as well.
You will be able to take part in the intense tourist life of Positano with its
rendezvous, shopping streets, and restaurants.
From the harbor of Positano, ferries, hydrofoils, and mini-cruises leave night
and day to places along the coast, the islands of Capri and Ischia, Amalfi,
Sorrento, and Naples.
The SITA buses connect all the towns of the coast and you can easily reach
places as Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Amalfi, Ravello, Paestum, and the
Reggia (Royal Palace) of Caserta .
From Villa Tatiana, mountain trekking enthusiasts can easily reach the famous
trail which crosses the top of the mountains of the Amalfi Coast. The trail
unravels through cliffs and breathtaking scenery. Due to its extraordinary
beauty, the trail is called Sentiero degli Dei (Trail of the Gods).
