Holiday Home Description

Villa Pamela B is a charming apartment located right on the Spiaggia Grande beach . It sleeps six people. From Villa Pamela B you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of Positano. Villa Pamela B is 70 square meters (750 square feet). It features direct access to the beach and to the sea, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating.

You will be in a pedestrian precinct, in the heart of Positano, where you will find restaurants, the shops, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the stop for the local bus and the SITA bus at 500 meters (1640 feet) and the closest beach (Spiaggia Grande di Positano) at 20 meters (approximately 65 feet).

Villa Pamela B is located on the bottom floor. You will reach it from the beach going up approximately five stairway steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Pamela B. If you do have one, you will be able to park it at approximately 500 meters (550 yards), for a fee, in a private parking lot.

Villa Pamela A and B are two apartments that are part of a beautiful ancient villa, decorated with arches and terraces. It is built on the beach and is approximately 30 meters (about 98 feet) from the sea. The beach is the "Spiaggia Grande", which is the main beach of Positano. The village revolves around the Spiaggia Grande like if it were a large amphitheatre. The beach is made of grey volcanic fine gravel.

The villa is not far from the other houses, but it is separated from them. It is built in a green space located between the steep rocky cliff and the beach itself.

Villa pamela is built on three levels. From every point of the villa you will have in front of you just the beach, the sea, the sky and the incomparably beautiful profile of the bay of Positano. At the back of the villa you will see a picturesque rocky ridge, higher than the villa, which extends beyond the villa to form a small crescent-shape headland which encloses the beach and closes, on the east side, the beach and the inlet on which Positano stretches. It is a spot of Positano that is called "L'Incanto" ("The Enchantment") for its extraordinary charm. You will feel privileged spending your vacation here.

The villa, which was built as the holiday house of an ancient family, has hosted VIPs and artists. Today it is divided into eight apartments arranged on three floors.

In front of the villa there is a tract of reserved shore, where you will find beach umbrellas and sun lounges to be used by the guests of the apartments.

As a guest of the villa you will also be able to use a small and thriving Mediterranean garden, located on the side of the building, where you will be able to stroll. Going through this garden you will be able to reach, walking for approximately 50 meters (about 164 feet), the center of Positano.

In the summertime the beach in front of the apartment you will find quiet and elegant beach facilities, with a cafe and a restaurant. Nearby you will be able to rent boats and practice water sports, including diving.

Walking on the beach you will be able to reach the "Music on the Rocks", a famous night club built into a grotto on the sea. Walking 50 meters (about 164 feet) towards the center you will find the famous "Stairway of the Lions", which is a main meeting point, and the promenade along the sea with picturesque shops, famous cafes and open-air restaurants.

And do not miss, especially by night and with the moon above the sea, to extend your promenade along the sea to reach the Fornillo beach. You will walk along a pedestrian alley cut into the cliff sheer above the sea, and step after step a new and suggestive view will appear in front of you.

Just a few steps from the apartments you will also find the ancient Cathedral and the maze of pedestrian alleys full of colorful boutiques, where you will be able to stroll, shop for Positano Fashion, relax in characteristic cafes with a drink or an Italian ice cream.

Yet, do not hesitate in plunging into the less crowded alleys and stairways: you will discover the charm of the most hidden corners, because in this place kissed by fortune you will see beauty everywhere around you.

It will be hard to escape the magic of this, and you can rest assured that immediately after you have left... you will want to come back.

At 150 meters (about 492 feet) you will find the quay where the ferries for Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, Naples and Salerno leave, as well as the mini-cruises to visit the coast and the islands of the Gulf of Naples.

If you like hiking, in the area you will find walks that are famous for their extraordinary beauty, such as the "Sentiero degli Dei": Path of the Gods.

Direct Access to the Sea

From the property you will have a direct access to the sea and to a public beach. You will reach it from Villa Pamela without having to climb any steps.

Terrace

You will be able to enter the terrace from the beach climbing five steps. It is shaded by a metal roof. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a broad view of the beach and of the sea.

Patio

The patio is 40 square meters (430 square feet) large. It is equipped with a wickerwork sofa and two armchairs and with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella and sun loungers. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. From the patio you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea and of Positano.

Living Room

You will be able to enter the living room from the terrace through a French door. The ceiling is vaulted. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. The furnishings include an armchair, a divan bed for one guest and a desk. There is a fireplace, for decorative purposes only. The dining table can accommodate five guests. In this room you will find a television. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Kitchen

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is well equipped, with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, an Italian-style coffee-maker and a toaster. From the kitchen a French door will take you to the terrace with a view of the sea.

Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the living room. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and a twin bed (80 cm/32 inches). The room has a small high window that opens into the living room. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, made of marble and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower.

Bedroom 2

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches), that can be pushed together into a matrimonial bed if requested. The furnishings include a desk. The room has a high window that opens into the kitchen.

Bathroom

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. Here you will also find a washing machine. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.

The rental price includes: final cleaning; electricity; linens; towels.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Villa Pamela B the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 100, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
