The apartment is located in the center of Positano and is equipped with air conditioning. There is one double bedroom, one bathroom with bathtub and shower, one large living-room with a divan bed, and cooking area. All rooms have a splendid view of Positano and its seascape. The Place Villa Faustina is an age-old house in the central area of Positano. It is built on the slopes of a steep rocky cliff by the sea. The house is located above a street open to local traffic only. There are shops and restaurants nearby. Villa Faustina is a beautiful three-storey house with a large terrace on each floor. The terraces are ornated with several vases with flowers and red Bougainvillea pergolas. From all the terraces you will see the sky, the sea, and the colorful group of houses on the steep hills of the town, a scenery very often captured in photos of Positano. You will feel as if in the first row to watch a marvelous show, in this case the panorama of Positano. You will be in the right place to grasp its extraordinary beauty and enjoy its cheerful vacation spirit. Sunset and evenings will offer you fascinating moments. From the terraces of Villa Faustina, you will be able to feast your eyes on the moon with its reflects on the sea and the coast with its shimmering lights. During full moon, the scenery is just incomparable. You can enjoy it from your terrace, which is quite well-lit, while dining under the stars… The terrace In order to enjoy all the aforementioned, Villa Faustina A offers you two gracious communicating terraces which are partially shaded by a masonry arch and sunshades. One terrace faces the bedroom and is furnished with sunloungers, and the other faces the living-room and is furnished with a table and chairs. From both terraces, you will have a fascinating view of the sea and Positano. The house You will enter Villa Faustina A by climbing a 40-step staircase from the street. You will be welcomed by a large, elegant, and bright living-room with white terracotta floor pleasantly decorated with age-old patterns. In the living-room, you will find a TV area furnished with a wicker couch and armchairs, one double divan bed, and an angle with a dining table. A patio door will lead you to the terrace overlooking the sea. The kitchen communicates with the living-room and is equipped with a four-burner stove, an oven, a fridge with freezer, and a washing machine. A small corridor leads to the bathroom and the double bedroom. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower. The bedroom has a patio door which gives access to the terrace overlooking the sea. The Beaches From Villa Faustina A, you will be able to reach the main beach of Positano, called Spiaggia Grande, on foot by going down on the picturesque main street of the town. You will have to take a 600-meter stroll which you will find to be actually quite pleasant. While walking, you will be able to discover several different and fascinating angles of the whole scenery, and you will also pass through shops which offer the colorful clothes and objects of the famous ‘Moda Positano’ (Positano Fashion). Once at the beach, you can decide to either stay on the free-of-charge beach, head to one beachside establishment, or even sit back and pleasantly relax at the table of a bar facing the sea… From the main beach, you can walk or take small boats to enthralling beaches nearby. Nearby tourist attractions Once at Villa Faustina A, you will be close to the bus stop of the local minibus of Positano and also next to the bus stop of the SITA bus, which offers the Sorrento-Positano-Amalfi line. The nearest shops are only a few feet away. You won’t need any car during your stay, but in case you have one, you can leave it in one of the pay-parking lots nearby. You will be in a convenient position to visit Sorrento, the Sorrento Coast and the Amalfi Coast as well. You will be able to take part in the intense tourist life of Positano with its rendezvous, shopping streets, and restaurants. From the harbor of Positano, ferries, hydrofoils, and mini-cruises leave night and day to places along the coast, the islands of Capri and Ischia, Amalfi, Sorrento, and Naples. The SITA buses connect all the towns of the coast and you can easily reach places as Pompeii, Herculaneum, Paestum, and the Reggia (Royal Palace) of Caserta . From Villa Faustina A, mountain trekking enthusiasts can easily reach the famous trail which crosses the top of the mountains of the Amalfi Coast. The trail unravels through cliffs and breathtaking scenery. Due to its extraordinary beauty, the trail is called Sentiero degli Dei (Trail of the Gods). The nearest airport is the one in Naples.
