Villa Ernestina A is a splendid two-story apartment that is part of a villa which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps six people. From Villa Ernestina A you will enjoy an enchanting view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast. Villa Ernestina A is 140 square meters (1500 square feet). It features a shared swimming pool, a wide private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 1 km (0.6 miles) from Positano, where you will find restaurants, the shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. You will find the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line a few meters (feet) away and the closest beach at 250 meters (approximately 820 feet) including 270 stairway steps.

Villa Ernestina A is located on the first floor of an ancient villa. You will reach it from the street level going up an external stairway which consists of approximately 35 steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Ernestina A. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a reserved parking space.

The Ernestina Apartments are part of a wonderful complex set in a landscape which will leave you enchanted.

It is a beautiful house in stone immersed in the green of a luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation and suspended between the blue of the sea and the sky.

When on the balconies or terraces of the house, you will feast your eyes on a wide horizon merging the sea and the sky. You will be charmed by the view of the Positano bay and its fascinating beauty.

The coast consists of a gracious series of promontories jutting out into the blue sea and alternated with inlets and charming beaches in half-moon shapes. Areas of sheer steep rocks or lush vegetation cover the promontories.

You will see a myriad of little white houses spread over the green of the landscape or clung really close one to another to the rocky walls of the mountains. If you look ahead you can even see the two small islands Li Galli and the contour of the coast, which becomes pale blue far in the horizon, merging with the outline of Capri island.

You will be thrilled for being amidst so much beauty, and you will be filled with joy and an urge to live it to the fullest!!

The place has such a magical atmosphere that it bewitches even me, a regular inhabitant of the area. Such enchanting feeling will linger within you even after the end of your vacation!

Sunset and evenings offer other fascinating moments. From the terrace of Suite Ernestina, you will be able to enjoy the moon reflecting in the waters of the sea and the coast with its shimmering lights. During full moon, the view is just unique, and you can relish it from your lit terrace while dining under the stars…

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 11 meters (36 feet) long, 1.6 meters (5.2 feet) deep. The swimming pool area is equipped with tables, chairs, sun umbrellas, deck chairs, sun loungers and external showers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a splendid view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast. You will share the pool with the other guests staying at the complex. It is open all year round.

First Floor

Living Room

The living room is paved with elegant tiles. The furnishings are elegant and welcoming, and include some antique pieces. The furnishings include three sofas and two armchairs. In this room you will find an upright piano(please contact us before making your reservation if you plan to use the piano, as we need to make sure that it is in working order). There is an elegant fireplace made of stone. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is spacious and comfortable, equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, an Italian-style coffee-maker and an American-style coffee-maker (bring your filters!). The dining table can accommodate 12 guests. In this room you will find a satellite television, a DVD player and a CD player. From the living room you will be able to enter a small terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi through a French door. The room has two windows with a view of the sea and of the island of Li Galli. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bathroom 1

The first bathroom is made of lucid majolica tiles and marble and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.

Second Floor

Terrace

The terrace is 70 square meters (750 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a tall metal roof. The terrace is equipped with wood benches and two armchairs, as well as with tables, chairs and deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a wonderful view of the sea, of Positano and of the Amalfi Coast and of the small Li Galli islands at a distance.

Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a small refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker.

Bedroom 1

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a desk. From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bedroom 2

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). The room has two large panoramic windows with a view of the sea and of the terrace. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bedroom 3

You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the corridor. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of the coast of Amalfi through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bathroom 2

The second bathroom is with wall tiled with stone and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a bathtub with fixed shower head. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Villa Ernestina A the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 500, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
