Holiday Home Description

Casa Lucilla is a charming apartment of 70 square meters (approximately 750 square feet) which sleeps four people. It has a roomy terrace with a wide view of the sea and of Positano. It is equipped with air conditioning.

It has a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a single bed a bathroom with bath tub and shower head, a second bathroom without shower, a living room with a divan bed that sleeps one guest and a kitchen. All the rooms give access to the terrace.

Casa Lucilla is situated in the higher part of Positano, a few steps from the main road. It is located on the top floor of an ancient and characteristic house of Positano. You will be able to reach it walking for approximately 50 meters (yards) along a pedestrian alley. Along the alley you will find an external stairway of approximately 20 steps that will take you to the house.

You will like this house: it is lovely, well-kept, and it is decorated with the cheerful and luminous colors of the panorama of the coast, white, yellow like the sun, blue like the sea.

You will enter into a short corridor, on whose sides the doors of the single bedroom, of the small bathroom, which only has a toilet and a wash basin, and of the living room open. From the living room you will be able to reach the small kitchen, the bedroom with a double bed and the bathroom.

All the rooms have glass doors to enter the large terrace and a view of the sea.

In the living room you will find a dining table and a divan bed that sleeps one.

The kitchen, which has a window with a view of the sea, is separated from the living room by a sliding door. It is equipped with four-burner cooker, oven, microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer, washing machine.

Casa Lucilla does not have a reserved parking space, but public parking spaces are available along the road nearby.

The terrace is large, beautiful and filled with light and sun. In front of you there will be just the sky and the sea, and a 180-degree view of the spellbinding village of Positano. You will be able to enjoy the ever-changing panorama of the coast from the moment you wake up to when the sun sets and the moon is reflected in the sea.

You will understand why, to describe the beauty of these places, the ancient Romans used to say that they were home to sirens and nymphae…

On the terrace you will find table, chairs, deck chairs and umbrella. You will be able to spend long hours sun bathing or dine outdoor, with complete privacy.

From Casa Lucilla you will be able to reach the center of Positano by bus or on foot. On foot, you will need to walk along characteristic pedestrian alleys and stairways, and the distance is approximately 500 meters (550 yards). The local minibus is more comfortable. It stops at 50 meters (yards) from the house and makes frequent journeys.

The closest restaurants, cafes and grocery stores are at 150 meters (yards). The stop for the bus that connects Positano to Sorrento and to the other tourist spots of the coast is at 50 meters (yards) as well.

To stay at Casa Lucilla you will not need a car. The bus service is cheap and efficient.

To reach the main beach (Spiaggia Grande) of Positano you will be able to board the local bus or walk downhill along the characteristic pedestrian alleys. It is a long walk, but it will allow you to enjoy fascinating views. Do it at least once, if your knees can afford it!

You will be able to take part in the intense tourist life of Positano, with its meetings, its shopping streets and its restaurants.

If you like hiking, from Casa Lucilla you will be able to easily reach the famous trail along the ridge of the mountains that overlook the Amalfi Coast. For its extraordinary beauty, made of precipices and breathtaking views, the trail is called "Sentiero degli Dei": Path of the Gods.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Casa Lucilla the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 100, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
