Holiday Home Description

Villa Barbara Due is an apartment that is part of a villa made of stone. It sleeps four people. From Villa Barbara Due you will enjoy a partial view of the sea. Villa Barbara Due is 60 square meters (645 square feet). It features direct access to the beach and to the sea, a private terrace, a private patio, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating.

You will be approximately 600 meters (660 yards) from Santa Maria di Castellabate, where you will find restaurants, the shops, public transportation and the beach. You will find the closest restaurant, a grocery store at 400 meters (440 yards) and the stop for CSTP bus Salerno - Acciaroli line at 250 meters (820 feet).

Villa Barbara Due is located on the first floor. You will reach it from the main entrance of the building without having to climb any steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villa Barbara Due. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, inside the entrance gate. The parking space is suitable for at most one small car (the size of a Fiat Punto or smaller).

The Villa Barabara apartments are located in a tiny complex of three small three-story buildings, which have been built on the edge of a sandy beach, and that have direct access to the sea and to a reserved tract of beach.

The three villas have the external walls tiled with stones and they have been built just a few meters from the sea and from the sand beach.

The three buildings are inside a fenced area that covers a sloping tract of coast located between the road and the sea. They are almost sheer above the beach and the sea.

From every point of the complex and from the terraces of the villas you will have a very close view of the sea, of the arch made by the golden beach below, and of the bay of Santa Maria di Castellabate. The view is charming from sunrise to sunset, and the sunsets on the sea are particularly suggestive.

From June to September you will be able to enjoy a beach service that includes the use of the equipped reserved beach with beach umbrella, deck chairs and sun lounges. In the summer months bars and restaurants on the beach are open. In the other months of the year you will still be able to access the beach at no charge.

This beach earns year after year the Blue Flag award of the European Union for the clarity of the sea water.

With a short stroll along the beach you will be able to walk to the center of Santa Maria di Castellabate. There you will find a pedestrian precinct and a wide choice of cafes, restaurants and shops.

The complex is equipped with a reception where a caretaker is available to provide information and to answer questions.

Direct Access to the Sea

From the property you will have a direct access to the sea and to a public sandy beach. You will reach it from Villa Barbara going down approximately 30 stairway steps. The area is equipped with sun umbrellas, deck chairs and sun loungers. The access to the sea is shared with other guests staying at the complex, as well as with non-resident guests. The facilities are available from the beginning of June until the end of September.

Laundry room

In the laundry room you will find a washing machine at your disposal.

Terrace

The terrace is 10 square meters (107 square feet) large. You will be able to enter it from the living room. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a partial view of the sea.

Patio

The patio is 20 square meters (215 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by trees. It is equipped with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella. From the patio you will have a partial view of the sea.

Living Room

The furnishings of the living room are cozy and comfortable. The furnishings include two single divan beds. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker and a refrigerator with freezer. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bedroom 1

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window with a partial view of the sea. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bedroom 2

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. It has a bunk bed (two single beds, one on top of the other). The room has a window.

Bathroom

The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a fully enclosed shower. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Villa Barbara Due the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 60, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
