It is situated in the center of Positano, and is equipped with air conditioning. It has two rooms with double beds, one room with a single bed, three bathrooms, a large living room with a divan bed that converts into two more beds, a kitchen and a dining room connected to a large terrace. Villa Giancarlo is part of the colored cluster of houses set into the hillside above the sea, which appears in all the photos of Positano. When you step onto the beautiful terraces, you will find yourself with a "front-row seat" from which to view the panoramic view of Positano-the perfect place from which to soak in the area's extraordinary beauty and enjoy its vibrant holiday lifestyle. Imagine yourself on one of these terraces, having your breakfast or just lounging in the sun: in front of you, you have a vast horizon of sea and sky, closed in to the right by a rocky cape that juts out over the sea, upon which brightly-colored buildings are hidden in the middle of the picturesque greenery. Beneath you, you will see a narrow stretch of roofs and the whitewashed terraces of the houses below, practically overhanging even more ocean. In the evening you will be able to savor the magic moments of the sunset and the moonrise over the sea, the silver glint of moonlight on the waves punctuated only by the wakes of small boats. When you return home from your vacation, you will need to say nothing more than "This-this is where I stayed…" as you share your photographs of this cluster of houses overhanging the sea in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Villa Giancarlo is beautiful inside, as well as outside. You will spend your vacation in an authentic "heritage house" of Positano, with rooms that face the sunshine and the sea. The floors are tiled with shimmering majolica tiles, and the décor is airy, pleasant and comfortable. You will have ample living space at your disposition, both inside the house and on its terraces. You walk down just 20 steps to get to the house, where you will enter directly into a spacious and bright living room. Your gaze will be drawn to the large glass wall through which you can see the sea and the sky. In front of this window you will find some seating, and on the terrace there is a white bench and some chairs. Pitchers and vases of red bougainvillea frame the charming panorama before you. In this living room you will also find a divan-bed for two people. From one side of this living room, you have access to a double-bedded room with ensuite bathroom, and from the other side, to a corridor which leads to the remaining rooms of the apartment. From the double-bedded room you have access to a small private terrace with a view of the sea. While standing inside this room you will even be able to see the sky and the sea through the windows. The bathroom has a bath tub with shower head. The second double-bedded room also has a small private terrace and a glass door which will permit you to open your eyes each morning to the blue of the sea. Next to this room there is the second bathroom, with a bath tub with shower head. The third bedroom contains just one single bed, and has an ensuite bathroom with shower, but does not have a view of the sea. The second part of the shared living area is made up of a dining room connected to the kitchen, with an enchanting terrace of 20 square meters (about 215 square feet) which has a splendid view of the sea and of Positano. A large arched glass door separates the dining room from the terrace. On this terrace you will find a beautiful marble table which can comfortably seat all the guests of the house when you want to share a meal in the open air. A wrought-iron pergola shades part of the terrace. The rest of the terrace is white and brightly lit by the sun of the Amalfi Coast. You will find a white stone bench that runs along one side, comfortable lounging chairs where you can enjoy the sun, and many cheerful vases of flowers and red climbing bougainvillea. In front of you, you will always have the blue of the sea and the sky, and the fascinating profile of the coast. The kitchen is well-equipped with four-burner cooker, oven, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. If you are arriving at Villa Giancarlo by car, it is possible to stop 20 meters (about 65 feet) from the house to unload your luggage. Roughly 100 meters ( about 330 feet) away there is a pay parking lot. You can walk to the Sita bus stop, which is approximately 100 meters (330 feet) from the house. A few meters away, you will find the local minibus stop, which connects this area with the pedestrian center of town. In this pedestrian center there are shopping streets, cafés/bars, restaurants and typical local meeting places. From the pedestrian center you can reach the beach, which is at the heart of vacation life in Positano. You can get to the beach on foot, following the pedestrian walkways and stairways. If you do not have a problem with climbing steps, this is a walk not to be missed, as it will give you the chance to discover enchanting panoramic views. In Positano, it is possible to enjoy aquatic and underwater sports, to rent boats, and to take minicruises by day and night along the coast. Next to the beach, you will find the dock for the ferry that connects Positano with Amalfi, Sorrento, Naples, Capri and the other islands of the Gulf of Naples. The Sita bus connects the center of the coast with Naples, Pompeii, Salerno and Paestum by land. If you like hiking, in the area you will find walks that are famous for their extraordinary beauty, such as the "Sentiero degli Dei": Path of the Gods. To stay at Villa Giancarlo, you will not need a car. Show tourist attractions and points of interest for this holiday home.
