Holiday Home Description

Villino Blu is a splendid two-story independent house which faces the sun and the sea. It sleeps four people. From Villino Blu you will enjoy a thrilling view of the sea and of the coastline. Villino Blu is 70 square meters (750 square feet). It features two spacious private terraces with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating.

You will be roughly 1 km (0.6 miles) from Praiano, where you will find restaurants and the shops. You will find a grocery store at 300 meters (990 feet), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line and the stop for the Flavio Gioia bus interno Praiano line at 250 meters (820 feet) and the closest beach (Marina di Praia Beach) at roughly 1 km (0.6 miles). You will reach Villino Blu from the parking area going down approximately 15 stairway steps.

You will not need a car to stay at Villino Blu. If you do have one, you will be able to park it on the premises, in a reserved parking space.

Villino Blu is built on two levels, which follow the contour of the steep rocky cliff. Its rooms and terraces face the sun, the sea and the sky.

You will arrive to a terrace which will be your private parking lot. A stairway of 15 steps, placed next to the parking lot, will take you straight to the terrace of the house. You will have to stop to admire the fascinating view of the sea and of the coast that will be in front of you.

Your sight will go over an uninterrupted view of a wide horizon of sea and sky, enclosed on the right by a cape coverd by olive trees and on the left by a large tract of splendid coast.

The tract of coast that you will be able to admire goes from the village of Praiano, made up of little white houses which cling to a green promontory, to the ancient Watch Tower on the sea, to the elegant promontory of Cape Conca.

Looking down from the terrace you will see the coast below your feet that steeply dives into the sea. At the back of the house you will see the profile of the Lattari mountains, the mountains of the Amalfi Coast.

The air is clear, clean and perfumed by the nearby lemon groves. All around there is tranquillity and peace: you will immediately feel that this will be your favorite place to relax and allow the magic beauty that is around to charm you.

The terraces of Villino Blu are lighted, and you will find that they are a perfect place to dine under the stars, in front of the reflection of the moon in the sea.

The closest beach is the charming beach of Marina di Praia, situated in a point where a small valley dug by the erosion meets, among the high rocks, a sea of the color of the emerald.

You can walk there along a tract of the coastal road, and then taking a "scalinatella" that will take you to the Saracen watch tower by the sea. From there you will be able to take a charming downhill pedestrian alley, cut into the rock, sheer above the sea, which will take you to the beach.

Along the walk you will find a couple of small and characteristic cafes and restaurants, open in the good season, where you will be able to have breakfast or dine on the rocks above the sea.

The entrance to the house is located on a little road which is only open to local traffic.

Top Level

Terrace 1

The first terrace is 70 square meters (750 square feet) large. It is equipped with a table, chairs and a sun umbrella. From the terrace you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea and of the coastline.

Garden

The garden is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by trees. You will be able to reach it from the first terrace. In the garden you will find a portable barbecue. From the garden you will enjoy a charming view of the sea.

Living Room

The furnishings of the living room are elegant and bright. The furnishings include a sofa. In the living room you will also find a cooking area. The kitchenette is well equipped, with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, an American-style refrigerator with ice-maker, a dishwasher and an Italian-style coffee-maker. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a satellite television. From the living room you will be able to enter the first terrace through a French door. The room has two windows with a view of the sea and of the coastline. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bathroom 1

The first bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. The bathroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the living room.

Bottom Level

Terrace 2

The second terrace is 70 square meters (750 square feet) large. It is partly shaded by a pergola. It is equipped with a table, chairs and sun loungers. From the terrace you will enjoy a thrilling view of the sea and of the coastline.

Bedroom 1

You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window.

Bedroom 2

You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. It has a bunk bed (two single beds, one on top of the other). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the second terrace through a French door. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Bathroom 2

The second bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a fully enclosed shower and a hairdryer. You will be able to enter the bathroom from the corridor.

Laundry room

You will be able to reach the laundry room from the corridor. Here you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal.

A 25% deposit is paid at the time of booking. The balance is due 60 days prior to arrival at the property.

Upon arrival at Villino Blu the property manager will ask you to pay a security deposit of EUR 200, payable in cash. The security deposit will be returned to you prior to your departure less any charges for accidental damages to the property.
