Casa Emma is a lovely apartment of 25 square meters (approximately 270 square
feet) which sleeps two persons. It has a terrace of 22 square meters (235 square
feet) and a wide view of the sea and of Positano. It is equipped with air
conditioning. A reserved parking space in a garage next to the house is
available upon request.
The house is located in the topmost part of the village of Positano,
approximately 2 km (1.5 miles) from the center.
It has one bedroom with a double bed, a small living room with a kitchenette and
a bathroom with shower.
The kitchen is equipped with four-burner cooker, refrigerator with freezer,
microwave oven. In the bathroom you will also find a washing machine.
You will reach it climbing 4 or 5 steps. You will enter a small living room,
where you will find two armchairs and a kitchenette with a small dining area.
From the living room you will be able to reach the bedroom and the bathroom.
From the living room you will also be able to enter the beautiful terrace with a
view of the sea, which is equipped with table, chairs, deck chairs and beach
umbrella.
The terrace is sunny from dawn to sunset. A small flowered wall frames the view
in a romantic way. You will love to relax here and dine outdoor, enjoying the
mild climate that Positano offers all year round.
The furnishing of Casa Emma is elegant and welcoming.
The owners live nearby, and they will be discreetly available for any request or
information.
The stop for the local bus is approximately 20 meters (yards) from the house.
Grocery stores are at approximately 1 km (half a mile) from the house.
You will be able to reach the center of Positano and the beach using the local
bus.
You will also be able to walk down to the center of Positano, along a shortcut
that goes through the pedestrian precinct of the village, and which includes
narrow alleys with steps.
These pathways are part of the charm of Positano, and not to be missed. To get
back up, if you don't feel like climbing the stairways, you can always board the
local bus!
How to reach the nearby tourist spots
On the beach of Positano you will find the quay where the ferries for Capri,
Sorrento, Amalfi, Naples and Salerno leave, as well as the mini-cruises to visit
the coast and the islands of the Gulf of Naples.
You will be able to easily reach the SITA bus stop for the buses that connect
the villages of the coast to Sorrento, Amalfi, Naples, Pompeii, Salerno and
Paestum.
If you like hiking, in the area you will find walks that are famous for their
extraordinary beauty, such as the "Sentiero degli Dei": Path of the Gods.
