Villa degli Ulivi C is an apartment of 40 square meters (approximately 430
square feet) which sleeps three persons. It has a reserved terrace with a
splendid view of the sea. Guests of the house can use a shared garden and a
shared swimming pool.

beach and from the village of Santa Maria di Castellabate.

Villa degli Ulivi is a nice villa, surrounded by the green of the Mediterranean
scrub and of a century-old olive grove. It stands in an elevated position on a
characteristic tract of coast covered by pine trees and olive trees, which
gently slopes towards the sea. It is divided into five small apartments. All the
apartments face the sea and the sun, and each has its on private outdoor space.
The guests share a magnificent swimming pool of 16 by 7 meters (52 by 23 feet),
surrounded by a sun deck with tables, beach umbrellas, and deck chairs. The sun
deck is serviced by external showers, bathrooms and a dressing room. The
swimming pool has a nice view of the sea as well.
Next to the swimming pool there is a wide area where you will find a garden and
a picnic area. Here children can play in the nature and adults can relax in the
shade of the olive trees. The area is equipped with a table tennis table and
with a bowls lane.
The villa is part of a small complex made up by four holiday villas, surrounded
by the vegetation. which share the swimming pool and the garden.
Villa degli Ulivi has been built in an isolated position, higher than the other
villas. To reach the swimming pool you will need to descend 105 steps.
As you arrive to the terraces of Villa degli Ulivi you will be spellbound by the
180-degree seascape that embraces the whole bay of Santa Maria di Castellabate.
In front of you there will be the vast azure of the sea and the blue of the sky,
the green of the surrounding hills and of the capes, covered by pine trees and
olive trees, broken only by the red of the ridge tiles of the roofs of the
ancient burg of Santa Maria, wedged between the hills and the sea.
At the horizon, on the sea, you will see the light blue profiles of the Coast of
Amalfi and of the isle of Capri, that close the Gulf of Salerno on the north
side.
At twilight, maybe sitting on your terrace sipping a drink, you will be able to
watch charming sunsets on the sea. And when the golden light of sunset fades
away, you will see the thousands of lights of the Gulf of Salerno go on in the
distance.
This is a scenery that has the luck and the privilege to be kissed by the sun
320 days each year and to have a mild climate that will allow you to enjoy the
outdoor life, the beach and the sea from the beginning of spring until late
autumn.
You will be able to reach the sea and the beach of Santa Maria di Castellabate,
made of fine golden sand, by car or along a path that includes a large number of
steps, but which is still within walking distance. The clear sea earns year
after year the Blue Flag award of the European Union. Swimming is safe for kids
and for those who are not expert swimmers as the water is shallow.
More over, the depths next to Punta Tresino and Punta Licosa, which are the
capes that close the bay of Santa Maria di Castellabate, are a paradise for
divers, who may look for archaeological findings of the Greek and Roman ages.

Park and the archaeological excavations of Paestum and Velia, the excavation of
Pompeii and Herculaneum, the Amalfi Coast and Capri.
Bus service is available in the area, and the stop is at approximately 500
meters (550 yards). The closest train station is Agropoli, at 14 km (9 miles).
In the area you will find the tourist ports of San Marco (at 4 km, 2.5 miles)
and of Agropoli, and it is possible, during the summer, to take boat trips along
the coast.
