It is part of an ancient country farmhouse with stone walls, restored and divided into three vacation houses. It has an open view on the valley and it is located 23 km (14 miles) from Florence. It has four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room with a fireplace and a kitchen. Villa Fiammetta stands on the top of a hill from which you will enjoy a wide view of the gentle Tuscan countryside and on the valley of river Arno, from the top of the Consuma mountains to the verdant woods of Vallombrosa. The farmhouse is made up of two independent stone buildings, surrounded by a green lawn and by plots where olive trees and vineyards are grown. The air is fresh and clear, all around there is vegetation and tranquillity. The simple ancient stone buildings have that charm that only time is able to donate, and become part of the quiet landscape of the hills making its beauty even greater. Your vacation at Villa Fiammetta will relax your mind and your body, maybe after a day spent sightseeing and admiring the artistic and historic treasures that nearby Florence and the other art cities of Tuscany preserve. To relax during the good season, guests of the three apartments also have available an above ground swimming pool which measures 4 by 8 meters (13 by 26 feet), which is placed in the green garden. The area around the swimming pool is equipped with tables, chairs and deck chairs. The villa is approximately 23 km (14 miles) from Florence, which can be reached in approximately 30 minutes by car. The town of Pontassieve is at approximately 10 km (6 miles), and from Pontassieve you will be able to reach Florence both by train and by bus. In Pontassieve, as well as in the other nearby village of Rignano sull’Arno you will find several services: supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, shops, horse center, tennis courts and a swimming pool. You will enter Villa Fiammetta A climbing approximately ten steps of an external stairway made in stone, at the top of which you will find a balcony made in wood and stone, where you will also be able to seat "al fresco". You will enter in a nice living room with a fireplace, furnished with a large wooden table and with warm and well-kept furniture, in the Tuscan countryside style. Around the fireplace you will find benches and small armchairs. From the living room you will be able to enter the kitchen, which gets light from a window with a view of the countryside.
