Villa Roberta A is half of a graceful villa. It is approximately 70 square meters (750
square feet), with a private patio and a shared garden, located just a few steps from the
center of Anacapri, in the pedestrian precinct. It sleeps four persons. You will have air-conditioning and winter heating available.
At Villa Roberta A you will have two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living-room, a separate kitchen, and a large furnished patio.
The patio
Villa Roberta A is built on the ground floor, and shines white under the blue sky
in the middle of a small plot of land. On the front of the house you will find
the paved patio, surrounded by flowerbeds. This will be your preferred spot to
dine “al fresco” or to relax in the sun. The other land that surrounds the house
contains a vegetable garden and is green with lemon trees and other fruit trees.
The house
From the patio you will enter the living room which is
equipped with a divan, table and chairs. From the living room you will enter the kitchen, which is
equipped with four-burner cooker, microwave, refrigerator with
freezer. You will reach the two bedrooms along a corridor. One bedroom with a double bed is roomy, and it has a glass-door that opens on a small terrace from
which you will enjoy a nice view of the countryside. The other bedroom has double bed and a glass-door that opens on another terrace with a view of the
vegetation. One of the two bathrooms is inside the bedroom. The second bathroom is reached through the corridor. Both bathrooms are decorated with shiny little tiles in ceramics from local handicraft. Both also feature spacious showers.
The apartment is airy, bright and pleasant. Furnishings are elegant, featuring typical traits of old houses in Capri: glossy floor in local handicraft blue terracotta, walls painted in white.
The place
Villa Roberta is an authentic, simple, house built by the locals for the
locals, and not just for the tourists. The vegetable garden and the fruit trees
that surround the house used to serve, and still serve, the purpose of providing
fresh and genuine produce for the family. Spending your vacation at Villa
Roberta will put you in touch with the simple way of life that fascinates, along
with the historical and natural beauty of the island, millions of visitors.
Villa Roberta is also comfortably close to the elegant pedestrian precinct of
Ana Capri, with its promenades thriving with cafes and open-air restaurants,
nice shops and lively tourist attractions. The villa can be reached from the
main road of Anacapri along a pedestrian alley, flanked by stone walls. In just
200 meters (yards) you will move from the intense vacation life of the main
roads to the quiet of an area where you will find only other cottages surrounded
by their own gardens and vineyards.
The beaches
To reach the sea you can board the bus that goes to the beach facilities at
the Blue Grotto, or the one that goes to Marina Grande or Marina Piccola, which
are the two sand beaches of Capri.
The bus stop is approximately 200 meters (yards) from the house. You will
also be able to use the paid public swimming pool of a hotel which is located at
approximately 300 meters (330 yards) from the house.
Nearby tourist attractions
Staying at Villa Roberta you will be able to comfortably visit the tourist
spots of Capri, and to enjoy the lively vacation life made of cultural
happenings, shopping, outdoor cafes and restaurants, music and night clubs.
You will be able to reach in a entertaining and fascinating way the Amalfi
Coast, Sorrento, Naples and the other islands of the Gulf boarding one of the
many ferries, hydrofoils and mini-cruises that depart from the docks of Marina
