Casa Clementina is a welcoming independent house located in a picturesque neighborhood of Positano. It sleeps three people. From Casa Clementina you will enjoy a splendid view of the main beach of Positano (Spiaggia Grande), of the coast and of the sea. Casa Clementina is 60 square meters (645 square feet). It features a spacious private terrace with a view of the sea, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed) and winter heating.
You will be approximately 200 meters (660 feet) from Positano, where you will find restaurants and the shops. You will find a grocery store at 100 meters (330 feet), the stop for the SITA bus Amalfi - Sorrento line a few meters (feet) away and the closest beach at 400 meters (approximately 440 yards). You will reach Casa Clementina from the street level going up a flight of stairs (approximately 40 steps).
You will not need a car to stay at Casa Clementina. If you do have one, you will be able to park it nearby, for a fee, in a private parking lot.
Casa Clementina is located on the second floor of a characteristic ancient building. The building clings to the rocky cliff of the higher part of Positano, and it is at a short distance from the main coastal road.
A splendid vine of bignonia (campsis radicans) covers the front of the building almost entirely. It is a century-old climbing vine, of spectacular size and luxuriance, like those that you can only see on the coast of Amalfi, thanks to the year round mild weather of the coast. It is itself part of the landscape.
The rooms have high vaulted ceilings and thick stone walls, which is characteristic of the ancient buildings of the area. This makes it naturally cool during the summer and warm during the winter.
Terrace
The terrace is 15 square meters (160 square feet) large. It is shaded by a pergola with a bamboo roof. It is equipped with a table, chairs and two deck chairs. From the terrace you will enjoy an enchanting view of the main beach of Positano (Spiaggia Grande), of the coast and of the sea.
Living Room
The living room is paved with hand-made tiles, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast. The furnishings are classic and welcoming. They include a sofa and a divan bed for one guest. The dining table can accommodate four guests. In this room you will find a television. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Kitchen
You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room. It is equipped with a four-burner electric cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer and an Italian-style coffee-maker.
Bedroom with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the bedroom from the living room. It has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the terrace with a view of the sea and of Positano through a French door. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, tiled with lucid hand-made majolica tiles and equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a shower. Here you will also find a washing machine.
