As a guest of the apartment, you will have free access to a large sea-water swimming pool, as well as, paying a small extra, to the private beach which lies at the bottom of the cliff where the villa and the garden are. Appartamento Isabella is indeed a special place to spend a vacation in Sorrento: the building is placed inside a centuries-old park, which also contains an historical building, which used to be the summer residence of the royal family of the Bourbon. The Bourbon reigned over Naples from 1734 to 1860. After the reign of the Bourbon, the building became the residence of princes of the family of the Russian Czars. In this place, so beautiful that princes and kings chose it for their own vacations, you will be able to feel and enjoy the spell of the coast of Sorrento, which inspired poets and musicians, and which has made these places famous all world round. Imagine a huge botanic garden of 27.000 square meters (290.000 square feet), with well-kept pathways that run through it, filled with tall trees and flowers and with a huge terrace placed directly above the sea. From this terrace you will enjoy a splendid view of the gulf of Naples and of the unmistakable cone of Mount Vesuvius. At the two ends of the terrace are two masterpieces of architecture: on one side, the ancient Bourbon building, on the other side, a modern luxury hotel designed by famous Italian architect Giò Ponti in the sixties. There is enough to start dreaming... you will spend your vacation surrounded by beautiful things, collected, over time, all in this space by people who have loved the natural beauty of these places, and who have been able to exalt it. You will be able to stroll along the fresh pathways of the garden during the hot hours of the day, enjoy the services of a luxury hotel and relax by the beautiful swimming pool, go to the sea, if you want, always with the sight of one of the world's most beautiful seascapes in front of you. And when the sun sets, on the terrace by the sea a romantic piano bar opens: you will be able to end your day with the show of the light of the gulf of Naples, sitting at the bar and listening to the sweet words of "Torna a Surriento". The ancient villa where Appartamento Isabella is located is just a few meters from the swimming pool and from the sea, surrounded by the green and by the quiet of the park. You will reach the apartment through an external stair, that takes you directly to the first floor of the villa. You will enter a wide living room, where you will find a sitting area and a dining area. Two tall glass doors and a window open on the green of the park and on a garden of orange trees. A small and well equipped kitchen is connected to the living room. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas stove, a refrigerator and a washing machine. There are two bedrooms: one has a double bed, the other has two single beds. From the bedrooms, looking through the tall glass door, you will have a nice view of the pathways of the park. There are two bathrooms, one of them with a bath tub and a shower, the other with a shower. The furnishing is enjoyable and welcoming. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning and TV. A reserved parking space is also available. Appartamento Isabella is 1 km (approximately half a mile) from the center of Sorrento, and it is located in an area where you will find shops and restaurants. Each of the guests of the apartment will also have a deck chair by the shared swimming pool (open until 6 pm), as well as a beach towel. If you would rather like to swim in the sea, you will be able to enter the beach facilities paying a daily extra directly at the reception of the villa. The beach facilities, located at the foot of the cliff, are very characteristic. They can be reached either with an elevator or descending an ancient stairway cut into the cliff itself. From Sorrento you will be able to board a ferry to Capri, as well as to the other islands of the gulf of Naples, to Naples itself, Amalfi, Positano and the other villages of the coast of Amalfi. You will also be able to easily reach the coast of Amalfi by car or bus. To reach Positano, for instance, it only takes half an hour along a road that shows breathtaking views of one of the world's most beautiful landscapes at every curve. From Sorrento, you will also reach the excavations of Pompeii in half an hour by car, or otherwise catching a local Circumvesuviana train. Caserta and its beautiful Royal Palace are also quickly reached. Show tourist attractions and points of interest for this holiday home.
