The residence's quiet and airy surroundings include a green olive grove, typical of the Cilento National Park. The beach and the sea are well within 500 meters (546 yards) away, and you can reach them by walking along a private path among the shady olive trees. The beach, five kilometers long (three miles), is sandy and wide, terminating at the south end with a foaming reef. As a guest of the farmhouse you can use the large sun deck with warm outside showers, the kids' playground, and the volleyball and basketball courts. You will organize charming events with your friends in the private garden, making pizza in the brick oven or cooking on the barbecue, accompanied by music and dancing. You will also enjoy the orchard, where there are fruit trees of all kinds, and where you can discover the taste of truly fresh fruit. Casa Rosina is 60 square meters (645 square feet) large, for max six persons, with three rooms and it is simply and comfortably furnished. It has an independent entrance, a garden equipped with table, chairs, and deck chairs and a covered terrace of 25 square meters (270 square feet). There are two bedrooms, both of them with a double bed and a single bed. In the living room, with TV, there is a kitchen corner with 4-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator and freezer, hood fan. The bathroom is large, with bath tub and shower wand. Central heating in all the rooms. A shared laundry is outside the house, and is available for the use of all the guests. There is a parking area. The distance from the center of the village, and from the train station of Ascea-Velia, is about 1 km (0.6 miles). Quite nearby the house, you can play tennis, roller-skate, swim in a pool, windsurf, play soccer, water-ski, go horseback riding, and enjoy boat excursions to Palinuro's grottos. The house is located near the archaeological excavations of Velia, so you might enjoy a visit to these monuments or to the site of Paestum, or take a trip inland to see characteristic villages, full of history and ancient traditions of handcraft and cuisine. A large supermarket is only 200 meters (220 yards) from the property. It is also possible to enjoy the several musical, sport and theatrical events that take place during the summer period.
