Properties that are marked as having "Broadband Internet/Wi-Fi" allow you to connect to the Internet and go online.
Even if your property is not marked as having "Broadband Internet/Wi-Fi" you might still be able to connect a laptop through a phone line, if one exists (you will need your own dialup account, telephone charges would apply), or to use a nearby Internet Cafe or, if the property is part of a small complex, a shared personal computer might be located by the reception desk, if one exists (sometimes, but not always!).

If you are choosing a property based on the availability of broadband Internet please read the property description to determine what kind of configuration is available on the premises. If you have doubts please do enquire with us. Broadband Internet and Wi-Fi hotspots are provided as additional services: there might be temporary outages and/or computer software/hardware incompatibilities that might prevent you from connecting your device. The owners will do their best to help, but please do remember that you are renting a vacation apartment and not an office. In other words, neither the owners nor we are able to guarantee that your appliance will go online. Please, please, please, do be in touch with us if broadband/wireless Internet connectivity is a stringent necessity -- let us make sure that you are going to get what you need!
A question that we are frequently asked is "how far is this property from...". We list approximate distances to offer you an answer even before you need to ask. When speaking about distances, there is a very important thing to remember: there is not just one distance between any two points. A distance can be measured along the shortest route, the fastest route, a walking path...
In an effort to offer you accurate and unbiased answer, we let a computer system do the job of calculating the distance along the "optimal" route. As anyone who has used a GPS navigation system knows, "optimal" does not always mean "best". We found the approximate distances pretty good for most purposes, with a few exceptions, usually for distances that are less than 10 km/6 miles. This exceptions are due to the fact that countryside roads are not always in good conditions (thus you can't drive there and need to take a longer route), or that there are shorter paths including steps, and so the actual walking distance to your destination is less than reported.
While all the information on our web site is published in good faith, given the above we are not able to guarantee that any specific distance we list is fit for any particular purpose. Should the distance from your villa to any destination be of capital importance in making your choice, please do check with us.
